>Disney is bringing Endgame back to theaters, this time with new scenes

Will you pay to watch Endgame again?

It's not over yet, brother, it's just starting.
Joe Russo said that there's plans for more movies and we haven't hit even 10% of the MCU's main storyline.
>>
>>219878430
No one cares anymore. Once you introduce multiverse shit the stakes are gone and everyone loses interest.
>>

>we haven't hit even 10% of the MCU's main storyline.
So is the gay feminist bullshit that they've been shilling for the past 7 years part of that 10%?
If they come out and say "lol those movies don't matter anymore no refunds btw" that would be extremely based and I will reconsider not seeing their upcoming films

What Marvel stories are even worth adapting for the modern era movies, attempting to pander to the "wider audience"?

They'd never do Demon in a Bottle, Streets of Poison, or Green Goblin Reborn, and if they tried to do something like One More Day - there would probably be actual violence involved.
>>
>>219878511
CW Arrowverse collapsed the multiverse. Owlman routinely tries to collapse the multiverse. Sure, both are DC, but there's no reason why Marvel can't have an event to implode their multiverse. It would probably be good for the brand in general. Really force them to focus on what sells, rather than diverting time and talent to shitting out ideological titles for ESG points.
>>
>>219878733
>>219878865
You now remember their collectors edition with all the Thanos saga phase one Bluerays with infinity stones box sets.

>>
>>219882050
>One More Day - there would probably be actual violence involved
I don't think so because no one really cares about these characters. People hated OMD because they grew attached to those characters and it felt it was time for Peter to move on with his life without May. Plus it was really OOC for Peter to make a deal with the devil.
>>
>>219882129
What's left that didn't get shoehorned into a single movie, or flopped in a series season?

Infinity Saga was literally Phase 1, Civil War was "minor disagreement" subplot in a singular Cap movie, Secret Wars is cancelled Skrull shit, Dark Phoenix was done already, Days of Future Past was done already, Death of Gwen Stacey was done already, the Galactus trilogy has been tried and failed twice already, Born Again is streaming slop, Planet Hulk got glossed over so hard that the result of it is a passing comment and a brief cameo in She-Hulk in a post-credits scene, Weapon X and Marvels got done already, Annihilation set up GotG already - so what? What do you got?

House of M? Powers of X? Parlaying God Butcher arc into Runic King for Thor 5? I'd rather see Spider-man 2099.
>>
Why is Ironman a bad guy? Tony Stark died
>>
>>219882441
Variant. TVA nonsense after Cap went back in time to have a life with Peggy.
>>
>>219878400
Like all genres, it has peaks and troughs. In the peaks, it dominates pop culture, in the troughs, it trundles along, far less numerous, much less culturally relevant, but doesn't die.

The decline in popularity is in fact necessary for a genre to become favoured again as it must fade to become "new" again.

Westerns, Horror, Romcoms, etc, all have had peaks of popularity spanning a few years before sinking back into the cultural background. Cape movies are no different.

89-95, 2000-2005, 2012-2022, were cape movie eras.
>>
>>219882441
RDJ is playing Doom; he is confirmed to have an East European accent in the movie.

He likely uses reality warping to make himself look like Tony Stark to fuck with the Avengers.

No
Even if they paid me to watch Endgame I wouldn't watch it again
>>

They were allegedly going to do Demon in a Bottle for Iron Man 2, but Marvel got bought by Disney.
>>
Doomsday leads will be Doom, Thor, and Cap.

Secret Wars leads will be Doom, Reed, Tom Spiderman, Tobey Spiderman, Andrew Spiderman, Wolverine, and Deadpool.

Everyone else will just be cameos or have tiny screentime.
>>

Secret Wars would retcon Spiderman 3, and would HAVE to include Dr Strange and Inhumans.

Isn't it weird for a PG13 franchise to require audience to watch an R rated movie? How would the disney kids even know those characters lol?
>>
we can make the new chicken jockey for this movie. First one that comes to mind is 'That's America's Ass.' And the theater would ironically turn into a twerk party. any other ways to make wagies lives miserable when this comes back into theaters?

>>219883113
No not really. The TVA plot is fairly easy to understand, it's a group of special cops that monitor the sacred timeline so they make sure people aren't abusing it via time travel or universe hopping. Can easily be explained in a single scene. Also the tva plot was part of loki which most people saw. Not to mention deadpool and wolverine made $1.3 billion so even if it was rated R it was still seen by most mcu fans.

Exactly my point. Disney is too safe. It has to be too clean, too family-friendly. God forbid a villain do something actually villainous. You now remember that they had to change posters for Apocalypse because feminists on the Internet screamed about misogyny when Mystique was getting choked.

I remember seeing Iron Man 2 and thinking they were going for that when the movie starts off with Tony checking his blood toxicity level or some shit. That whole story line was probably left in the script but Disney made them change it to
>hurr his robot heart is poisoning him instead durr
which was just fucking retarded. He's supposedly a super genius but he doesn't know that the shit he used to replace his heart is toxic? And then it's solved by some macguffin "lol my dad discovered a new element but didn't tell anyone" shit?

The problem with pulling some "dr doom builds a machine to collapse the multiverse lol" is that in the back of everyone's minds they know they'd just pull a "someone invents a machine or does a magic thing to fix it again" down the road as soon as they run out of ideas again.
It's just like when everyone "died" in Infinity War only to come back in the very next movie. It's comic book shit, there's no stakes.

It's a clone.

According to the Russos

"Dr Doom is popular, he's kinda like a robot, but we decided he'd be more interesting as a clone than a mindless machine"
"Tony Stark knew he may have to use the gauntlet at some point, he made the calculations to predict the final fight's outcome, so he made a clone of himself called Johnnt Stark who'd become the new Iron Man, however the clone was evil"
"Johnny Stark decided to become a mockery of Tony's hard work, an evil version of Iron Man, he tried many names, "Iron Doom", "Johnny Doom", "Johnny Evildoer", etc, but he settled for Dr. Doom. He became Spider-man's archnemesis because he's Tony's biological son, which makes them natural enemies."
>>

>>
>>219887310
Funny how only /tv/ shits on the Russo. Most people say they're on the level of Tarantino and Kubrick.
>>
>>219878365
Why don't they reset the story like they do with Batman and Superman movies?

Just get a new set of actors to play the Avengers and start building to a new supervillain with some minor villains before.
>>
>>219880794
>shes already sucking someones cock on the 2nd pic
grim
>>
>>219887191
That sounds retarded, I believe it
>>
>>219888357
The popularity of their characters is tied to the actor rather than the character itself. It's why WB can get a new actor for Batman every few years, but a new Captain America won't sit right with audiences.
>>
>>219888473
And why is that?, because the Avengers actors have played those characters for more time than in the case of the ones from Batman and Superman?

Eventually they will have to change actors because of them getting old.
>>
>>219888357
Why did they ever think this was a good idea? It's retarded and annoying. You can use new actors without rehashing the same story over and over.
>>
>>219888643
Yeah that could be another possibility. But maybe they do it because they audience sees that there is a new actor and they think it's another story.
>>
>>219878365
