That said, in early childhood I did have a stack of comic books from grandma's basement, and this gave me a basic cultural education on the various superheroes, Phantom, Shazam, and so on. But I preferred the Archie and Duck Tales/Uncle Scrooge comics. I made an exception for the Nolan Batman films, I do browse /tv/, after all.
They can't seem to get the idea that these movies are hinging on a decent villain.Spider-man just slinging around left and right is all well and good but it needs a strong hook/conflict/villain to get people engaged.They seem to think that just having Tom show up and bumble around is somehow good enough, which is utterly wrong. Nobody watches these movies for Zendaya either (apparently she's not even in this one or something).And the marketing here is making it unclear who the villain is.
