It's her afterlife punishment.Also, The Endless is good, but Resolution (2012) is also good, just as much of a mindfuck and it connects a little bit to The Endless so I always tell people to watch that first. I guess the order doesn't really matter, but I think they are both worth watching. So OP should watch them both.
