It's still so funny to me. After Frozen came out, it was the biggest thing ever, fandom-wise. So much fanart, so many fanfics, ideas for Frozen 2, etc. And then the actual Frozen II came out, and I've never seen a franchise die so fast. I'd say The Last Jedi had a similar effect on Star Wars, but for better or worse, at least there's been a ton of Star Wars content that came out after The Last Jedi. Frozen II came out over half a decade ago and the series has been dead ever since, with the best it has to offer is that 3 and 4 are eventually coming out and hopefully they'll "fix" the state 2 left the series in. Absolutely incredible.
