Theres not even really any good Scorsese cinematography or camera work.Also the choice to use covers of relatively modern songs that weren't period accurate just because Scorcese movies always have music in it was so jarring.

The young people dancing and celebrating because they hit oil, while the elders hold a funeral for the peace pipe and lament that their descendants won't smoke it anymore and their ways will die. A sort of funeral for their culture. The movie said everything to was trying to say in tha short sequence.
