Was it peak television, balancing pretty much everything and consistently good throughout the whole show?

How does Better Call Saul compare to it?

Ah yes, 50 Minutes of Old Guys Standing Around in Fields Talking About "The Deal". I love that show.
>>
It was live-action cartoon.
>>
BB is "the best show ever" to people who have watched maybe 2-5 drama series ever and never read a book as an adult

What's the best live action television drama series, in your opinion?
>>
>>219893085
Nah. It was always a goofy live action cartoon for adults.
>two face gus
>i am le one who knocks
>bbbb-bonfire
>machine gun in trunk killing nazis
>magnets bitch
>any scene with le 4d chessmaster gus
>it's not le meth
>the two assassin brothers
And filled with bad acting especially by Cranston and Paul. The former was worse because every scene of his was literally the same - tilt his head sideways, open his mouth a little and squint. Anna Gunn should've won all the awards for keeping a straight face during his "I am the danger" scene

The Sopranos.

It’s pretty good but not as good as breaking bad. BB is just far more entertaining and exciting overall. BCS just kinda feels ponderous at times in a way BbB never did .

I never watched GoT when it was on the air and I was a little young when Lost came on but I have good memories of the last couple years when everybody including all my friends watched. I always knew it wasn’t The Sopranos nor even Mad Men quality but it was a good time.
Probably the media overdid it a little in the last season with the hype tho

>every scene of his was literally the same
Obvious bait post, but they did do one thing the same throughout BB and Saul that drives me nuts: Every time someone is telling a story-and I mean EVERY time-they do it the exact same way.
>It was back in 99 and you were wearing that-what was it? Blue? No, black dress...
>"We were eating those awful burritos from...Miguel's?" "Enrique's." "Yes! That was it! Enrique's Tacos."

Every single time someone tells a story, they do a little bit where they struggle to remember a small detail for a second before remembering. It's supposed to make the dialogue sound real, but they do it every single time and always in the exact same way.

More of a writing issue than acting, but whatever.

Went on for way too long.

BB was fun and exciting for almost the entire series. BCS starts out slow and has some strange episodes in black and grey but after a while it becomes nostalgic and as good as BB.
