>Those were reshoots. We had to do reshoots [...] Those were like these surgical strikes where you come in, they were like scrambling, trying to get everything going, and that was a new addition, at the end, so there was a lot of movement and flux throughout that whole thing. But had you asked me at that moment if I thought that was going to be a (meme) line, I wouldn't have known. Hey man, I committed to the exasperation, that's for sure.

Fuck him. He's as guilty as the rest for not walking away after a week.
>>
>>219894623
He called Disney fascist after they fired Kimmel
He's basically blacklisted from working with them
>>
>>219894623
I don't think that's how contracts work, anon.
>>
>>219894623
>why didnt he just commit career suicide because of a bad script!!?!?! that would have been hecking BASED!!!
neet moment
>>
>>219894623
I'm sure there were exit clauses in the contract. If he left the production abruptly he would have likely been forced to pay tens of millions. At a certain point you just shrug and cash the check, which I can't really blame an actor for as long as they aren't committing a literal crime

>>219894676
This too. Once you go against the House of Mouse you can't ever go back

Wouldn't you shit on a bunch of loser neets dreams if you were paid millions for it? Hell I'd do it for free.

>nooo he should've given up millions of dollars and destroyed his career because something from muh childhood was being ruined!!!
>>
>>219894873
I genuinely don't understand Star wars retards, I don't think there's a single movie they enjoy of their ''favorite franchise'' all they do is bitch and moan about the movies.
>>
>>219894623
Oh no, it's retarded.
>>
>>219894914
The movies are shit, but they have cool stuff in them.
>>
>>219894295
You know, I’ve always heard it said that “reshoots were always a thing,” but I suspect that, for the bulk of cinema history, those reshoots were to correct technical issues or maybe to give the performers a chance to attack pivotal scenes differently, not so a hack director could Frankenstein a story out of them.
>>
>>219895201
They have always been a thing, they're called "pick-up" shots, and normally cover small things found to be missing during editing. Like editing a scene and finding you never got a shot of a particular character reacting for instance.

Reshoots as a total overhaul of entire scenes or even sequences with major script rewrites are rare and tend to be in troubled productions.
>>
>>219894623
This.
He should have come back with a gun and started firing immediately. Fucking coward.
>>
How was the movie originally going to pan out if that was added in reshoots?
>...

>OUT OF NOWHERE, PALPATINE
>>
>>219895370
Who knows. The entire plot is blatantly a hodgepodge of bits and pieces of half cocked ideas.

>AHHH, MY FAVORITE MULTI-MILLIONAIRE JEW IS ON HIATUS FOR A WEEK, THIS IS LITERALLY HITLER V3 I'M GOING INSANE HELP ME OBAMA WE'RE BEING GENOCIDED

The funniest part is that he's probably going to get shitcanned permanently once the orange man is gone. These "people" were entirely toothless and irrelevant during Sleepy Joe's presidency, so once "their" side or a less unhinged person is in charge, they're toast.

He's Guatemalan.

I was referring to Kimmel, but Isaac is also Jewish.

>He is the third Oscar in the family. “My father and my grandfather were both named Oscar,” he revealed. “I am the third Oscar. It’s from the Academy Awards. Isaac is Jewish from my father side. I am definitely a big mix of many things.”

So he supports disney when they're making a shitty product, but melts down when they fire someone that is costing them money.
Leftists aren't really leaving us a choice at this point.
>>
>>219894623
chuds are truly mentally ill
>>
>>219894295
I still can't believe Palpatine's return was off screen in the movie because it happened in fortnite and that's somehow canon.
>>
>>219894623
He should have guarded the established lore.
>>
>>219894295
holy cope lmao
>>
>>219896023
I'm confused as to what part is a cope. He's saying it is a reshoot and the film's production was a mess. That sounds accurate.
>>
>>219894914
>Disney rapes your favorite franchise until it's ass is a bloody, gaping, rotten mess

instead he committed career suicide by sticking to the script

you know you can just add the timestamp to the video right?
add &t= to the url and then convert the timestamp to microwave time and add it.
so 29:35 is:

the Force Awakens and the Last Jedi are better than all of the prequels and arguably Return of the Jedi. You think otherwise because you are a soulless brand consoomer who has fond memories of buying the toys and seeing the movie in theaters with dad when you were two, not any appreciation with the movies themselves
>>
>>219894623
don't listen to the replies, anon.

workers down tools and face political imprisonment. yet this 'man' couldn't even protect Star Wars...?
>>
>>219896321
how is he doing that? he says right there he contributed to it by looking so exasperated
>>
>>219896208
His most recent film received nine Oscar nominations and won three.
>>
>>219896321
He's an actor. He didn't write the scene. What is it you want him to do? It's a ridiculous line in a terrible reshoot scene.
>>
>>219897881
just doing his job, eh? simply following orders?
>>
>>219897257
only as an excuse, shifting blame onto the retakes

>>219897881
I honestly don’t really “want” him to do anything, aside from just not denying his impact in the scene. Without actors you don’t have a movie, and with bad acting you have a bad movie.

It's basically confirmed that scene was reshot because it contradicts the film later
>We can't do the holdo maneuver it's one in a million
>The end of the movie uses the holdo maneuver
>>
>>219894295
I can't be the only one who really wants to know what the line/scene was before such that it was decided that this was an improvement
>>
>>219894295
That's even funnier. "Somehow, Palpatine returned" was part of RESHOOTS, was part of efforts to FIX the movie. That's amazing.
>>
>>219898611
>shifting blame onto the retakes
Are you braindead? That's the reality. The scene was part of reshoots.
>>
>>219899232

>>
>>219895477
>downplaying what actually happened
the federal government put pressure on a network to fire someone for one single joke that made them whine, cry, piss, and shit themselves in their diaper. how are you so blind to the fact that is actual fascistic behavior. I'm not over-exaggerating by saying
>OMG REPUBLICANS ARE LE HECKIN NAZIS OMGGG!!
but the fact that right wing retards made excuses for this behavior by the federal government really says a lot
>>
>>219899213
I imagine the scene didn't exist at all previously. I don't even know when they added Palpatine as the villain in the first place. Given they threw out Colin Trevorrow's entire script, I don't even know if they had a complete script from Chris Terrio when they rolled cameras.
>>
>>219899213
I dont really care. Now get mad
>>
>>219894295
>only memorable line in the film
>>

Most memorable line of the film is
>HEY HEYYYYY
