>John Creasy (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is a former Special Forces mercenary struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder. When his best friend Paul Rayburn (Bobby Cannavale) is murdered in Brazil, Creasy sets out to protect his teenage daughter Poe Rayburn (Billie Boullet), who is being targeted for assassination as the sole witness to Rayburn’s murder. Creasy hires Rayburn’s driver Valeria Melo (Alice Braga) for help due to her connections in the criminal underworld, and together they uncover a conspiracy that pits them against corrupt CIA agent Henry Tappan (Scoot McNairy).

Interesting. Did you know that the movie of the same name I'm presuming it's based on is based on a book written by the Bangladeshi writer Humayun Ahmed
>>
Didn't they already adapt this book with Denzel Washington.

CRREEEEASSY!
That's all I remember from the movie.

Okay but hear me out, wasn't he always originally black?
>>
>>219901708
Yes. Man on Fire is his best movie.
>>
>>219901734
>blackwashing
sure but this one is darker, and so is the girl.
>>
>>219901708
Yes, and there’s absolutely no reason to adapt it again. You’re not going to up it from Denzel.

This nigga's so uninteresting 4chan won't even shit on him.
How long has he been getting roles?
All this fuckin' time.....and he still hasn't had a break-out/break-through role yet.
He's got a name no one can pronounce, for starters, and he's got a habit of being cast in roles made famous by others.
This guy has yet to be in one fuckin' original role to call his own.

Why are all the comments about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?

>Okay but hear me out, wasn't he always originally black?
The 2004 Denzel Washington film and the 1987 film Man on Fire are based on the 1980 novel of the same name by A. J. Quinnell.
In the 1987 movie, Creasy was portrayed by a white man, Scott Glenn.
I often use the 2004, Denzel version, (and Bad Boys), as a good example of a non woke, black led movie whenever I'm arguing with people who say things like "to these racists, woke just means anything with black people in leading roles."

all this negro does is pkay "rebooted" characters where the originals wont be topped. Hes done it like 5 times now.

>>219901866
I actually thought he was good in Wonderman.

>He's got a name no one can pronounce
If I were his agent, the first thing I'd tell him to do would be to change his name to a one word name or something like Ackshun Jackson. He'd be famous worldwide. As it is, it sounds like a terrorist or a Black Panther... also terrorists.

It’s strange, Jews do it but for some reason Africans refuse to even though it would help their careers tremendously.
>>
>>219901866
anon, he did change his name because it was hard to pronounce, but it was already taken so he added the II

>No Denzel
>No Tony
>No maximalist editing
Why even bother?

Funny enough there was this dude named Rampage Jackson who took over for Mr. T in the A-Team remake but his movie career seemed to end immediately.

And it was fucking kino. This literally who cannot replace Denzel.
>>
>>219901708
There was another version before that with Scott Glenn. This is number three.

I finally watched the OG one with Lance Hendrickson(?). Had I not seen the Dakota Fanning version, I would have thought it was okay.

That said, a reboot of a reboot? We're getting into "Multiplicity" levels of diminishing returns...

How’s Glenn’s? I’ve always liked him.
>>
>>219901546
Stop fucking remaking everything

Man on Fire (2004) is really really excellent. Id argue its the finest film of both Denzel Washington and Tony Scott's respective filmographies. Finally got around to watching the original 1987 adaptation with Scott Glenn the other week and thought it was mostly total drivel. Didn’t work for me at all - proper retarded pacing. This new series doesn’t look very promising either. Drab throwaway streaming garbage.

Scott Glenn
