He is an amazing actor, and I know I'll get crucified for this - he is better than Walken if we are really comparing. Walken is a good actor but mostly for bit roles. Walken's two most famous lead perfomances are The Dead Zone and King of New York, both are good. Neither stacks up to Whitaker in The Last King of Scotland.
Great actor, but I always stare at his wonky eye like watching Columbo.
