>My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius.>And I like maps
>>219918651Wow he's literally me. I played Risk by myself as a child and created grandiose fictional narratives for my campaigns. Then I discovered Paradox map painter games and ruined my social life.
>>219918651I miss when famous people would post their actual unfiltered thoughts on Xitter. 50 cent was funnier than every anon.
>>219918949This. What kind of a world do we live in where people are hired to post on fucking social media for celebrities and companies?
>>219918651maps are coolwhat's your point

>>219918651He has beaten up Eric Watson (the scammer CEO of Long Island Iced Tea Corp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Watson_(businessman)#Long_Island_Iced_Tea_Corp) in the toilet of a 5 star hotel, so Russell Crowe will forever be the basest among men, in my book.
>>219919288Foightin' round the world
>>219918651I think maps are the most perfect metaphor for meaning. Here's a representation of real life that makes no attempt to perfectly reproduce the original, and is in fact NOTHING LIKE the original, yet it serves as a building block of understanding. People who reject the globe earth aren't contesting any matter of fact, because the globe isn't a fact per se. It's a highly abstracted representation with no impact on people's lives. Mapping is the way to look at concepts.
>>219918651I too, like maps.I like atlases. Normal ones and historical ones. I like topographical maps, and all sorts of informational graphics relating to population, area, geography and such things.I likr you Russell.
>>219918651He also loves fucking married women
>>219919475Maybe if Jack had a bit more mosaic dna from Rusty, he wouldn't be so annoying
>>219918943>I played Risk by myself as a child and created grandiose fictional narratives for my campaigns.Unironically healthier than the vast majority of modern pasttimes. I hope you're doing something creative in life now, anon.

>>219920306>Gladiator also got us the Rome scenes in HannibalWell of course, it would've been weird not to bring up romans even once in a movie about Carthage.

How do you like them maps?
One of my favorite things to do when I'm bored is to just open Google maps and zoom into random islands.
>>219918651Based. I also love maps. I hope somebody introduced him to map painting games.

>>219918943Every year in high school we got these Atlases for geography class and every year on returning them my parents had to pay a fine because i kept drawing in them, pretending I was a general and conquering lands/expanding borders.
