what are the best alien movies (not only this franchise but the theme of aliens in general)
I'm in the mood for some "spaceship trip goes really really bad and everyone dies in dumb ways" flick

Sunshine.

I wasn't filtered shit fucking Romulus was better than these two pieces of shit.

Romulus feels like it was edited to avoid copyright claims.

You might like Prospect. It’s less a “people doing dumb things” and more a “people knowingly risking death to make a living” scenario, but it still might scratch the itch.

I can’t get over how early Prometheus goes full retard. At least Covenant gave us a solid 15 minutes of legit space dilemma. Think of how much better a movie it would have been if the neutrino burst had actually crippled the ship and they had no choice but to limp to the Covenant planet.

Even the director was filtered from finishing the story.

Prometheus could have been good with a better script, but Covenant was just retarded trash. It was like a SyFy original movie and it left the franchise in limbo until Romulus managed to be a respectable film in the wake of Ridley's disaster.

This is a decent space horror flick.
