What's the point of these films?
Why does a movie need to have a one sentence long "point" for you?
something about europe and warprobably regret for the whole germany thing
What's the point of this thread?
Humans are the real monsters.
>>219928483Humans are the real kino
>>219928483I don't know. Danny Boyle should cheer the fuck up:>>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi5j7jjhm4M
>>219928483>What's the point of these films? What do you mean, what is the point of ANY film?
>>219928483The point is that we have so many IP rehashes that are dogshit, that a 6/10 rehash now gets unfairly boosted to a 8/10 in comparison.
>>219928483Immigration is good, tradition bad etc etc
>>219928483being kino
>>219928483did you watch 28 days later you retard?that movie was a political commentarythis movie is also a political commentary
>>219932242>tradition bad I got the opposite message from this scene. Some of the new trends going on in the outside world are what's bad.
>>219932699how do you think she took the news of her boyfriend being despined?
>>219932730>Eh swedes are spineless anyway
World building. Like the last Apes film
>>21992848328 years Later was so fucking cringe no one watched part 2
>>219932039Are those... Y'know...
>>219932699Nobody watches movies anymore, they just glance up while scrolling tiktok.
Wasn't the rehabilitation of Jimmy Saville's reputation enough?
>>219932573What was the commentary of 28 Days Later?
>>219935293The movie starts with animal rights people breaking experimental monkeys out of cages, remember? That's how the rage happenedIt's an animal testing=bad movie.
Why doesn't /tv/ jimmima post anymore
>>219932798Do you think it succeeded?
>>219928483To show how to cure the Rage Virus and potentially resolve the man vs nature conflict driving the franchise.
>>219928483I loved both of these films. It's strange how there was this coordinated hate campaign to tear these movies down. I loved the first one more than the second, While the second was technically a better film it did some stuff that I thought was corny and didn't like. They focused way too much on the samson character and I don't like how Kelson died and now Samson is going to be this hero that has to cure the human species. Other than that I had a great time and loved these movies. 28 weeks is still the weakest film in the series.
very gay cashgrab
>>219937175>It's strange how there was this coordinated hate campaign to tear these movies down.aka people didn't like it? lol ok
>>219938051No this film received hate from people who didn't even watch it lol. I get people having their own opinion and not liking it but people were on a brigade shitting on this film hardcore like it was the worst abomination ever conceived by humanity. They're fun zombie movies and pretty creative too. People were vehemently foaming at the mouth with hatred over this film it didn't make sense.
I liked them. There is some weird (metaphorical?)time-travel history is ever present thing going on in them I think. I don't know what they were trying to say about it, I'm always too retarded to really get these things. But the dying mother's dementia in the first movie was a hint I think, like how she couldn't tell if she was in the past or present half the time.
>>219938302it makes sense when you realize modern society is captured by christian interests and these films depicted satanist as having a more durable and useful society than christians.
>>219938302I thought the point of that was just to emphasize how quickly civilization has regressed in the quarantine zone, which subsequently emphasizes how fragile civilization as a whole is.
>>219938415I think that was more of an allusion to the mad scientist figuring out a cure and potentially bringing back the old civilization.
>>219932039What a bunch of weird looking dysgenic jewish guys.
>>219928483>What's the point of these films?>What's the moral? >Why won't the other kids play with me? >When is Daddy coming home?
>>219938415The time travel quote:>"Aw, look! The angel! You remember the first time you showed me the angel, Dad? We drove near here with the car. We walked until we spotted it rising over the treetops. You said it would stand like this forever, like the pyramids or Stonehenge so when you look at it you're seeing into the future. Do you remember that? >Do you? I couldn't have been more than seven or eight. "Us two are real life time travelers," you said. Fallen into the future. And I got... I got scared! Because I thought you were being serious and we really had. How many hundreds of years have we fallen this time? Is it thousands or more?"She was commenting on how far society had fallen and reverted back to the dark ages. It was like time travelling in a sense. PLus her cancer was making her very confused
The bit at the end with “after world war 2 came the end of nationalism, populism..” he may as well have been staring straight at the camera with a bunch of EU flags in the background, Garland needs to stop seething and accept Brexit happened
They fucking chopped this tree down for no reason. Can't believe sharing oxygen with some of these specimens
>>219938528Yeah that part was cringe
>>219928483this moovie was so bad they repackaged it as a different movie, hoping to trick more people into buying tickets. its literally over for hollywood
>>219938551It was always intended to be two parts what are you smoking?
>>219938454the satanists literally get played for fools at the end of the second film and are easily captured by a spectale created by dr kelson. They were in no way pro satanism.
>>219938622Yes that makes it just as bad for christians when they have to be saved by science because science > satanism > christian, so christians get btfo by satanists, but all superstitious demons worshipers get btfo by science which not only makes their god less powerful than the opposing godking, but it makes godlessness trump all potential gods and lesser demons. It wasn't about being prosatanism, it was about being anti-religious, but satan just happens to be the antithesis of the most popular religion.
>>219938756While the opening sequence could be interpreted as religious fanaticism it could also be interpreted as the pastor believing that he was the arbiter of the end times and he was exacting God's wrath on the sinners by leading the flock. It's not exactly a middle finger to religion but its not in support of it either.
>>219938892Religious people clearly didn't see it that way and don't like to admit that satanism is just an emergent property of christianity since they clearly brigaded against the movie and can't accept their own religion's flaws.
>>219938976Which is exactly why they didn't actually watch the movie, but just went to the internet to vaguely complain about something they were told threatens their silly little self-righteous worldview.
>>219938302there's a subset of people like that for literally any movie that gains traction my dude, just look at the situation with Project Hail Mary
The first one is some hamfisted MAID allegory. The second one was about Jimmy Saville.
>>219928483Obvious cashgrabs.
>>219939781Well the second movie flopped hard
>>219928483Thanks to 28 Years Later, I learned that toxic masculinity is bad.
Spike is an awful character and the actor isn't doing him any favors. Niggers can't direct themselves out of a wet paper bag. Jack O'Connel is criminally underrated as an actor, and it is a shame that he had to be the star in what will probably be the worst film of the 28 years trilogy.
>>21992848328 Years is about remembrance Bone Temple is about retaliation The third film will be about redemption
>>219938892It was a cringe early 2000s edgy anti-christian bullshit.
>>219928483As with all post-apocalyptic movies, the point of these movies is to show how most humans become primitive again if civilization falls and you have to fight for survival.
28YL was bad, it's a poorly made movie with no intention besides setting up the next one. Boner Temple is brilliant.
>>219941685No. 28 Years Later is fantastic until Aaron taylor johnson character leaves, then is all horseshit
so what's the next one, twenty eight centuries later?
>>21994276928 Years Later28 Years Later: The Bone Temple28 Years Later: 28 Days Later
>>219933366what do you think, anon?
>>219942769It should be the last movie because there is not much to tell. Now that Jim is back make a final movie where he escapes the UK to France and he lives with his daughter as we see how the UK is finally rescued by an international military coalition to eliminate the last infected.
>>21994168528YL felt more interesting to me. It was like a medieval adventure film and Boyle's retarded directing choices made it feel stranger. Boner had a better story (and Ralph Fiennes is kino) but I wish Boyle directed it too
>>219932039>hey guys wanna dress up like qt goth gf's and have a tea partywhere do these (((people))) come from?
>>219932039Ngl I'd fuck all of them, preferably at the same time
>>219938540i think it was a russian psyopsome "people" in my country tried to poison trees by drilling into them and filling the holes with acid etc, turns out russia has a system of paying random people money for doing tasks like thatdemoralization campaign in full swing
>>219942932Its a sexual perversion. Its like a bunch of swingers planning to meet up. They probably have a Facebook group
>>219928483I didn't know there were two movies. I thought The Bone Temple was 28 Years Later.
CAN I PLAY WITH MADNESS
