They get a lot of credit for not being woke which I do appreciate but tonne they are boring and I rarely even finish them. Top Gun 2 was the first of this new generation non woke but safe and predictable big budget movies and didn't finish that. I don't finish F1. The only reason I finished Project Hail Mary was because it was sci fi and I went to see it in the theater. But it's still the same type of movie as Top Gun 2 and F1 that I find boring. Right now I'm liking the more mid budget stuff like Civil War and Weapons. Because with the lower budgets they have more leeway to be creative and less by the numbers.
