What did /tv/ actually like about The Hobbit? I thought Smaug was really good and the movies have a comfy vibe. Most of the actors did a good job and the music was nice.

I watched the directors cut, maybe the theatrical cut is just awful or something idk.my only real criticism of it, and I mean something I really disliked, was how they handled the entire murkwood portion. it was my favorite part of the book as a kid and the movie dropped the ball on it

The aforementioned Sonic the Hedgehog physics kind of dock this scene a few points
