Used to be shocked when you heard someone say they've never heard of Pulp Fiction or Goodfellas or Fargo. Now its much much crazier what these kids have not only not seen but haven't even heard of, parents failed them. My dad showed me tons of classics making it almost a weekly hobby week to week we'd watch a different classic. Its as if parents of zoomers (i'm only 30 btw) sat their kid on an ipad at age 3 and then never bothered to share any cultural shit with them and just assumed the kid wouldn't enjoy it never giving them benefit of the doubt until it was way too late. Also imagine the parents years later being like "oh shit you never saw Back to the Future? we gotta watch that" or whatever other extremely basic movie that they do that with instead of actual kinos
