but I tried watching this and the dialogue is so awful that I couldn't stand to watch it. I did consider watching it in another language but it doesn't deserve my time.I don't think Gunn is particularly talented but I assumed in a cape-slop movie, his dialogue work wouldn't be the main issue.I was interested in seeing where they took it and I quite like the idea of a return to traditional optimistic hopefully story telling but I couldn't get past 10 minutes of the dialogue and some of the worst most insulting exposition ever written.I didn't think it could be worse than the Snyder films but they were just films made by a dork who makes college-level fan films without understanding the source material who was lucky enough to have landed on 4/5 good choicesWhereas James Gunn does know comics and had full executive control and he makes bad choices so even though the film probably isn't made as badly as BvS, It still somehow a worse overall experience. It's simply an incredibly irritating film from the very beginning. everything about it is annoying.Worse than the matrix 4.no points.

Zack Snyder took superman too seriously and turned him into a joke, so James Gunn decided to just cut out the middleman and make him a joke right out of the gate by not taking him seriously at all.
superman is garbage slop for people that like to pretend to like movies but dont actually like them and people that pretend to care about politics but dont actually care about thinking. plot for idiots, cinematography for the blind and deaf, characterization for babies and themes for white liberals. snyderverse wasnt good but gunn has always made garbage and hes better at making pedophile twitter jokes than movies
