What's your favorite Cagekino?
Probably The Rock. It's not one of his wacky meme performances, but it's a solid film.Unlike most people, I prefer Cage as a conventional actor. I'm not keen on the meme man stuff.
>>220021828adaptation, wild at heart, mandy. that order.
My dad's a massive Cage fan, everytime we'd go to Blockbuster back in the old days he'd pick shit like Snake Eyes, Face/Off, Bringing Out The Dead, 8MM. Luckily I took after my mom's patrician taste for European and Middle Eastern kino.
The song by the cult playing while Jolie makes out in the car is iconic. It makes the cgi car leap forgivable.
>>220022068You have got to try harder to ragebait, anonkun. Snake eyes is an absolute thriller. Watched it all the time. Gugino has the tomboy lezzie look and the redhead has got the hendricks bodacious look.
Mandy
>>220021828National Treasure. So fucking comfy. I rewatch it once or twice a year.
You already know the answer.
>>220022148I'm sure this shit board will call that movie reddit, but it's actually very good and I like it a lot too.
Answer me this, Cage fans: what makes him good?
>>220022117>ragebaitI'm not, my dad's a fucking pleb. I tried to get him to watch Breaking Bad and he dropped it after two episodes and forgot about it.
>>220021828Tough one. He has lots of kinos. The RockCon AirFace Off / Lords of WarGone in 60 secondsNational Treasure
>>220022209wild unabashed passion for acting.
>>220022209Gives 160% to every role no matter how dogshit. He's the Rock Lee of acting.
>>220022209Every single Cage movie is entertaining to watch because of him.
Willy's WonderlandI hope he's in the Dead by Daylight movie
Drive AngryCon AirMandy
Matchstick Men seems to fly under everyone's radar? It's even got Sam Rockwell.
>>220021828Fast Times is the best movie he's appeared in, Next is my favorite film that he has a primary role in
>>220023674haven’t seen that one or snake eyes. need to check out both.
>>220023674haven’t seen lord of war either so i’m clearly slacking.
>>220025202Lord of War is great. Basically everything director Andrew Niccol touches is the real shit. Truman Show, Gattaca, Anon, Simone, In Time. He doesn't get pushed hard because he doesn't sugarcoat.
Pig.I have a truffle dog and that movie spoke to me. It was pure unadulterated uncut kino.
there’s gotta be a reason cage has worked with some of the best directors.
>>220021828Face/Off. no contest.
>>220021828Bringing out the Dead
>>220022068>my mom's patrician taste for European and Middle Eastern kinoYour mom sounds like a bitch
>>220021828this movie is kino. Delroy Lindo steals every scene he's in as a sympathetic detective. Shame he got obsessed about being called the n-word
>>220021828
>>220021828Raising Arizona
>>220021828Face/offThe rockCon AirPig
there's not enough cage movies
>>220022209>>220022570He is a true Thespian. One of the few left in hollywood
>>220021961Yesh
>>220021961He does some of his crazy actor stunts in this one too. Case in point scene of sex with his gf.
>>220022209He is quirky in a cool and natural way. Energetic and fun to follow.
>>220021828Wild at heart
>>220021828Face Off and Raising Arizona
Leaving Las Vegas, Adaptation and Mandy.
Damn, am I missing out? I’ve only seen 60 seconds and Lord of War. I liked them both.
Leaving Las Vegas is his best acting roleFace/Off is his best Cage roleBad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans is the best middle between those rolesGuy is one of the great actors because he's able to play this guy who can explode, but he can do it in any genre.
>>220025235Sadly his latest movies were slop. I hope he finds a good script for his next project.
Bad Lieutenant>mfw the soul is still dancing
>>220025789 kino but you’re picking the obvious answer. everyone says Face/Off because it’s the maximum Cage dosage. dual golden guns, priest monologue, “I could eat a peach for hours” etc. real heads know it’s either Raising Arizona or Bad Lieutenant where he’s doing full spaz technique but it’s actually in service of something. Face/Off is him turned into a Looney Tune (in a good way), but that’s just one gear. the man has a whole transmission.
>>220029166>>220022014Only 2 mentions of Wild at Heart in this whole thread. Dismal.Honourable mention to 8mm for me, which, if you treat it as a Batman movie (because of the Schumacher connection), absolutely transcends kino. Truly great shit.
>>220026169He could play a convicing John McAfee
This movie gave birth to the greatest 90's songhttps://youtu.be/NdYWuo9OFAw?si=cs3VFiLy0oEQSPHN
>>220021828I feel likes a coin flip between lord of war and matchstick men I havent watched leaving las vegas yet, but i hear it might be his best.
>>220022209He just stars in good movies
>>220033380Christmas kino
>>220033484came to say this. The OP post is also top tier pick
>>220021828This movie always starts off great but then I remember Angelina Jolie is in it.
>>220021828Maybe it’s a basic answer, but National Treasure. We don’t get very many cool action movies that bring so much attention to the amazing history of the United States.
>>220021828the one where he battles the demonic adrenochrome bikers
>>220025760>there’s gotta be a reasonCoppola
