That its over.Its not AI being the impending death knell with the assraping its looking like its capable of delivering; its that and video games now being sophisticated enough to be entertaining in their own right in ways that films can't and both are being seen as the alternatives for enterainment in the future.That the film industry is filled with people that don't understand the video game industry and the video game industry is filled with people who failed to make it into the film industry. Its that with sequels, requels, remakes, rehashing, reimaginings reboots, and no new ideas coming in because the guarantee return from established IP's is what is preventing the risk of trying something new is what's killed it. People are neither angry like they get told they are in news paper articles when agenda and ideology gets shoehorned in nor are they happy with the dwindling variety of new stories and ideas. They're indifferent to Hollywood. Too many cats out of the bag. Social media removed the mystique of the celebrity and we all found out they're empty headed retards. And the amount of sick shit about the industry being revealed by the day puts a stink on everything coming out of there and the jig is up in the sense they're no longer the cool kids club. Its that the appeal and demand for revenue from the international audiences meant that movies had to be dumbed down to the point where dialogue became "You bad. I good. We fight. (insert quip to relieve tension" and the CGI sparkle fest.) By no longer appealing to the American audience which quickly dwindled what with the influx of foreigners, you have universal appeal that no body latches on to or longs for or remembers fondly after leaving the theater.Attention spans and understanding and comprehension of higher modes of thinking are dwindling as well thanks to digital devices and movies are deevolving as a result. It can't end soon or fast enough.
