Ultimate Spider-Man literally did what Invincible did, it follows the life of Peter from his teenage years up until his death.What Invincible does differently is stick to a single continuous run where Mark ages and the story progresses without reboots or resets. But that’s a specific structural choice, not the invention of complete storytelling in superhero comics.
