The original story is very directly criticising Communism.The need for liberal hollywood to constantly treat communists with kid gloves should concern you. Communists are genuinely fucking evil. Capitalism is bad but its because its adherents are selfish and uncaring, they typically aren't actively malicious like Communists are.

They bought it because their highest grossing movies last year were animated and they had nothing in development ready for release soon. It's actually their second worst-reviewed release on RT. Hopefully the response tells them that was a bad idea. A lot of their upcoming releases seem to have very little religious themes.
