>A cautionary tale about the dangers of capitalism>Critics hate itof FUCKING course lmao
>>220035117I can't wait for the revolution to start bros
the original story is about the dangers of communism you brain dead fuck
>>220035137The revolution will be live broadcast and sponsored by Amazon, Coinbase and Palantir
>>220035117Those right wing chud critics at it again, can’t wait when Gavin Newsom wins and the pendulum swings back to sanity smfh
>>220035164The original tale, yes, but the movie is about the dangers of capitalismNapoleon got renamed Ronald Dumpt and he's given a comic relief sidekick called Melon Tusk
The original story is very directly criticising Communism. The need for liberal hollywood to constantly treat communists with kid gloves should concern you. Communists are genuinely fucking evil. Capitalism is bad but its because its adherents are selfish and uncaring, they typically aren't actively malicious like Communists are.
>>220035117>The bait begins...
>visionary director Andy Serkishe's just famous for playing motion capture CGI characters, he has never directed anything worth a damn
>>220035218>Napoleon got renamed Ronald Dumpt and he's given a comic relief sidekick called Melon TuskBased if true
>>220035218lol if only
Aren't all directors technically visionary? Are there any blind directors?
>>220035117This movie actually looks like ass though. Why are we making a story about the rise of tyranny in irl Russia a comedy.
>>220035310Because Russia made their own country a comedy first
>>220035117you should not watch this unless its pirated.
Lol why would they switch a communism bad story to capitalism bad?
>>220035117if you think animal farm is about capitalism, you are retarded. this is a bait thread, anyway, though, so who cares?
>>220035117>A cautionary tale about the dangers of capitalism>the only reason they made this movie is for a quick buckI am very tired of these champagne socialists
>>220035117Does the new movie have the book ending or the CIA animated film ending?Book ending is pretty grim for modern audiences.
>>220035217I know this is bait, but I honestly can't understand how anyone could look at the abysmal career of Newsom and still think he's worth voting for.
>>220035117Critics. Notorious for defending capitalism. What the fuck are you talking about?
>>220035117> Novel warns A about the dangers of B> all prior tv/film versions tell the same story> modern lefties decided to turn the story into the exact opposite of what it is> wonders why people are complaining.
>>220035117Do leftists worship corporations so much, yearn for corporate jobs, that they have to swap government-corporate "partnerships" aka. State Corporatism, for "capitalism"? Even CCP's draconian control/surveillance of corporations is spun as "Chinese style capitalist economy".
>>220035117>Seth RoganI hate it and I won't even go see it.
>>220035117>seth rogen
>>220035164My favorite Eric anecdote is that he once wrote a polemic review of a book by Irish writer Sean O'Casey in which he cited a passage borrowed from that most English of writers, Tennyson, as exemplifying Irish Chauvinism.
>>220035223commie here, ama
>>220035223No. It's criticizing the specific form of totalitarian communism practiced in the soviet union and if I may be allowed to indulge the Russian revolution for eating her children.>b-but yous sayin' real communism nevah bee tried!Orwell would presumably have argued that given that he was one.
This whole thread is full of baiters, and people who don't know shit. Allow me to make this clear to the latter group:>George Orwell's Animal Farm is one of the most famous and highly-regarded pieces of anti-communist literature ever created.>In the 50s, the CIA partially funded an animated adaptation that still holds up shockingly well even today.>(((Hollywood))) have an obsession with overwriting and redefining any and all cultural icons that deviate from or oppose their worldview or agenda.>Animal Farm is a massive one for them to deconstruct, so the aim is to simultaneously flip the political messaging while also making it base slop animation. The goal is to erase the original and its meaning.>It is particularly egregious because George Orwell's other most famous work, 1984, specifically references how dystopian overlords rewrote history to suit their purposes.>Orwell's estate has just recently given the greenlight for (((Hollywood))) to produce a retelling of 1984 from the perspective of a new female protagonist, which will likely attempt the same.
>>220035308I think the people churning out Hallmark movies only have a vision of a pay cheque.
>>220037181He won't survive the primaries, even liberals hate him.
>>220038687Real communism is just a standard stock image of utopia, the entirety of communism as we know it is the various attempt to achieve that. Attempts to do so have been done almost exclusively through Marxism. But if you could achieve communism through cold fusion and automation I don’t see what issues there would be besides people not knowing what to do with their time and energy.
>>220035117Do you think armond white will defend this shit too?
>>220038687>Orwell would presumably have argued that given that he was oneOnly because he was a Trotskyis at the time. Later in life he adopted the true ideal that all government is shit and will turn oppressive.
>>220035218I choose to believe this and will repeat it elsewhere
>>220035117Angel Studios did it so the jewish critics don't like it. Simple as. Surprised Angel Studios got so many stars to be in it.
>>220038529How much shit is piled up in your pants?
>>220040665im not wearing pants
>>220039867Very based
>>220035117Why are multi-millionaires making "cautionary tales" about capitalism when capitalism made them rich?
>>220038529Which kind are you, stupid or evil?
>>220039849no he wasnt, in later life Orwell supported the British labour party and its strides in welfare state through democratic politics
>>220035117>andy circus freak yet againsomeone drown that goblin in a bucket
>>220041027See >>220038689
>>220041044genius
>>220035117The Popcorn Meter on this film will almost perfectly dictate the proportion of people that are NPCs.
>>220035117If they made a half way decent version of the book it would have been.ever green since the book is read in schools all the time.
>>220041078So evil then. In that case, follow-up question, given you're a 4chan goblin what makes you think you would benefit from communism, and what makes you think it would be achieved within your lifetime?
>>220041130They already made that in the 50s, and it's an excellent version. Here in the UK it's still shown in schools for English or sometimes History (unless your teacher is deranged). The whole reason this modern version exists is to erase the original because they don't like the message.
>>220038687>b-but yous sayin' real communism nevah bee tried!Saying it in a silly voice doesn't invalidate the argument. >Orwell would presumably have argued that given that he was one.Democratic socialist.
>>220041078Self-described genius, huh? Could still go either way, then.
>>220035164Yeah but eventually the pigs and humans appear to blend
>>220043005Your comment makes me think you just very quickly watched the end of the movie but have absolutely no idea about any of the context.
>>220039889They didn't make this movie. It was finished a long time ago, and no one else wanted it. They bought it because their highest grossing movies last year were animated and they had nothing in development ready for release soon. It's actually their second worst-reviewed release on RT. Hopefully the response tells them that was a bad idea. A lot of their upcoming releases seem to have very little religious themes.
