What are your favorites? In the mood for some Japanese kino so I'm looking for some suggestions.I haven't really kept up so the most recent ones I've seen are 13 Assassins and Cold Fish, but I'll watch any era.

Anything Miike has made is kino of the highest order.
My favorite Japanese movies are the dozens of Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsmen episodics. They are formulaic but I like the formula.
