Haven't watched it like a decade.
I thought it was good.

You thought it was slow as hell for the first 30 minutes, then it quietly ruined your night. It’s one of those “nothing happens” movies where actually everything happens and by the end you just feel empty. Probably went in expecting boomer nostalgia and got hit with small‑town despair instead. Also you weren’t complaining about the Cybill scenes. Overall: “boring but kino” and you’ve been thinking about that last scene more than you want to admit.
