based on how erratic and poorly paced the first two seasons were, Sam Levinson isn't a writer with exactly a good process on delivering on scriptEuphoria is probably the worst offender but the jump from networks to streaming service model changed the economics from trying to make a steady hit for years to come into making as many shows to draw in new paying subscribers and as a result studios aren't that good with making a show making machine that churns out 13/24 episodes a year, every year, for 5-8 years.

They train their showrunners to plan one season,if a second season is greenlighted, the writers have come up with something. Than they wonder why the second season shits the bed and viewers drop because of bad 2nd season.
