>>220042534It's obvious from the context of the scene that he's imagining using his hand in a way that suprises him in how strong and specific the impulse is and it makes him reevaulate how he sees her. Like if a character makes a fist after they get into a frustrating encounter, you understand what that's saying is going on in their head, right? Like they're angry but containing it, or pretending that they're containing it and really it would never have come out at all.
