>Any movie that you love, chances are, it was directed by a man, edited by a woman - which means a woman directed ittry to refute him. you can't
>>220058139what happened with his wife?
RobocopIf he loves women so much, why did he kill his wife?
Star Trek: The Motion PictureDirected by: Robert WiseEdited by: Todd Ramsay
>>220058139American Psycho, one of the only competently directed films by a woman, was actually directed by the male editor? now I can even enjoy it more!
>>220058139Too bad it was he that directed all of those deadly drugs into his wife's bloodstream, causing her to perish.
>>220058191>>220058205>>220058240it's funny because if he was a maga right winger these jokes wouldn't exist but since he's a lefty and said mean things about Trump that makes it's okay to accuse him of something so vile! hilarious! maga! christ is king! I'm so le heckin' based!
>>220058232That explains why its so fucking boring and nobody likes it
>>220058139He's correct. Tarantino movies went to shit once his editor died. Each of them should be 1 hour shorter
>>220058139>directed by a man, [...] - which means a woman directed it
>>220058262>Everything is about politics and someone should be allowed to murder their wife because they are on my 'side'I'm not American or right wing, loser
>>220058337Yes, chud, you are both.
>>220058262>>220058367Sir, this is a Wendy's.
>>220058324Star Wars was saved in editing by marcia lucas She won an oscar and lucas didn't lol
>>220058319Did she die between Kill bill 1 and 2? Because the drop off is insane.
>>220058139>any overdose that was administered by a man, taken by a woman - which means it was administered by a woman.
>>220058594This is also why George Lucas made the "special editions" and burned the original prints. All to spite his ex wife.
>>220058594>Star Wars was saved in editing by marcia lucasPeer reviewed proof for that claim? Why even care about jewish nepobattles anyways
>>220058139The only movie I have ever seen, Iron Angels, was directed by a woman. Anyway can u help me kill my wife?
>>220058262go microwave your entire head, frootloop
a black woman directed all the movies. you might disagree, you might even have evidence to the contrary, but you have to ask yourself - is this worth losing my job over? a black woman directed all the movies.
>>220058367all leftoids can do is project
>>220058262Isn't heckin a woke term?
>>220058191he murdered her and he's currently serving a life sentence at a medium security facility
>>220058139>the first-ever best director oscar given to a woman (kathryn bigelow for the hurt locker) is illegitimate and actually belongs to the two male editorsgood to know
I only like Coen brothers kinos
>>220058139Writer, director and editor is the same guy just at different parts of production, if not its corporate bullshit
>>220058232What a shit movie thank god Wrath of Khan redeemed them
>>220059168It's rare a director gets to edit his own movie seeing as movies are business
>>220058139I agree with MUAHHHH THE FRENSCH, editing makes or breaks a film. (He also said he really didn't consider anyone was a film director unless he did his own editing.) But saying that editing is the directing is silly. The obvious "male director - female editor" combo is Scorsese Schoonmaker, but if you watch e.g. the documentary on the making of Goodfellas, you see Scorsese largely planned his shots with the cuts in mind. Thelma did good work and did make some important creative decisions but I would say at least half her job was just having a great feel for exactly how far you could push the speed without it all becoming too jerky.>>220058940One of the Hurt Locker editors was a woman who just sneakily has a man's name (the Chris someone). But Kathryn's Point Break was edited solely by a man, so now we know, he directed it too!Jane Campion employed a female editor for The Piano, so it's fair to say The Piano was 100% woman-directed. Perhaps that's why it's crap.
>>220058139That means if a woman edited a female directed movie, the editor is the real director? Or do they get to share the credit because it's different for women? Or is it only the female director's direction that counts because it's different for women?
>>220059210Wrath of KhanDirected by Nicholas MeyerEdited by William Paul Dornisch
>>220058240Kek
Without that man directing it, that woman wouldn't be editing it.There you go, refuted.
>>220058139>directed by a manI love the Matrix and that was directed by 2 women.
>>220058139>Directed by a man>Edited by a manWomen will never understand this
>>220058139Chances are it was written by a man, and thus ultimately directed by a man. Total simp death.
if this guy had a documentary team follow him like the jinx, nobody would be surprised at the ending
>>2200586151 and 2 were supposed to be one movie before being forced into splitting them in two
>>220058262You're so right, xister. No one ever says anything bad about right-wingers!
>>220060022And script doctored by a woman who didn’t get credited
>>220060022writers have the least control out of everyone involved.
>>220058139TerminatorAvatarLOTRThe GodfatherJurassic ParkA Few Good MenKung Pow: Enter the Fistis that an actual quote from him? Because every good movie I'm looking up had male director and male editor. Lucas's wife helped edit the first Star Wars and ROTJ, but 2 other men also helped edit those and Empire only had a male editor.Other than that, where are these all-time great movies that were edited by women? Did he even give examples?>>220059867kek, and that was edited by a man (male)
>>220058319>The National Board of Review and the American Film Institute named Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as one of the Top-10 films of 2019, and it won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was nominated for 10 awards at the 92nd Academy Awards, winning two (Best Supporting Actor for Pitt and Best Production Design), and received numerous other accolades. It has since been considered as one of the greatest films of the 2010s and 21st century.[b] The Writers Guild of America ranked the film's screenplay the 22nd-greatest of the 21st century.[16][17] Tarantino has stated that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is his favorite film that he has made.[18][19][20]
>>220060082Pulling a story and plot out of thin air beats technical analysis of an already-existent story any day of the week.>>220060104But without it a movie doesn't happen.>inb4 Iron Man, et al.still needed a plot outline and even that aside, acting out a story with zero written material still makes the actors screenwriters.
>Erm.. an editor is actually the director What the fuck does this even mean
>>220058594>saved in the editingDo you think other movies shoot only 2 hours of film or something? Nobody who says this has even seen a mythical cut of Star Wars that Marcia didn't edit to compare.
>>220058594Marcia was one of 3 editors. The other 2 were men.And she didn't help edit Empire Strikes Back which was the best one.The Force Awakens had two female editors btw.
