>finish watching ANYTHING
>go online to seek the opinions of others because you need others to validate your own opinions
That's a sad way to live, boy. Like what you like. Dislike what you want too. Fuck the opinions of youtubers and anyone else.

>>220061673
And a 2020s pop culture are retards complaining that movies are racist and sexist
Also 8 hour "brief" essay on a shitty nickelodeon tv show
And why Kathleen Kennedy is Adolf Hitler of Hollywood industry

what humor do zoomers even have?

>'I'M LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS! NOTICE MY OPINIONS BECAUSE MY OPINIONS MATTER BECAUSE I FEEL STUFF!"

Pass. If I want that, I'll go to any college campus with a MAGA hat on.

BUILD THAT WALL!

Cinemasins was always trash, and doug walker wasn't much better
>>
>>220061673
Honestly, yes.
I think the peak of this was the last Harry Potter film.
The movie was 2 hours, the YouTube content was probably 5 hours.
Not even ashamed of watching all this stuff because I was 14 at the time.
>>
>>220061757
Mauler's and Critical Drinker's reviews are honestly not fun at all. I cannot think of a single online reviewer in 2026 worth watching.
>>

>I think the peak of this was the last Harry Potter film.
Yeah after the end of Harry Potter the MCU overshadowed every other franchise.

Man i kind of miss it, it was nice when you were in your 20s and you were just commenting on the dumb movies you liked
>>
nothing has changed, except people stopped watching the movie, and went straight to the "influencer", who now babbles on about "rizz" and tries to sell them supplements.
>>
>>220063847
I cannot even name any new-gen movie reviewers that match the same popularity that Honest Trailers or HISHE had.
>>
>>220061673
More like
>Finish movie
>Go online and look at porn
>Jack off and then play video games

If that's your honest interpretation of 2010s pop culture...lmao. I always pity those people who have to watch 500 videos after they watch something or read something because they absolutely refuse to have a mind of their own. You're like a slave lmao
>>
>>220064072
Not OP but I watched them because they were fun and I was a bored college student
>>
>>220064072
What's your interpretation of 2010s pop culture? RLM or some other Gen X slop?

yeah, because we did away with the watching movies part, and now the talking head on the internet is the source of entertainment. We streamlined the process.
>>
>>220064253
that's gen alpha humor isn't it?
>>
>>220064072
Not everyone in the 2010s was an enlightened free-thinker like you, McLovin

I watch this once weekly during my lunch hour at work on Fridays to hype myself up and prepare for the weekend. I've been doing this for almost 7 years now and even do it when I'm on vacation. Earlier this year my family and I went to a resort in Jamaica and I made time after lunch on Friday to go back to the room and watch My Doug.

Watching NC is intolerable for me. The side characters in particular make it hard to watch (the fat femoid and the black guy). Doug himself is a self-important manchild.
>>
>>220064072
stfu nerd, people didn't watch those videos for their opinons, they watched them because they were funny

>>
>>220061673
I'm still subscribed to cinemasins despite probably not watching a video of his since like 2014
>>
>>220069214
It’s so bad now. Just an empty shell of what it used to be
>>
I rather have people make angry reviews than make gay plot synopsis masked as essaies.
Nothing about those videos are enlightening. It's just a bunch of wannabe intellectuals flexing their college grade media literacy for other reddit fags. With angry reviews, it was obviously nothing more than millenial fucks trying to expess their creativity rather than give out serious takes.
And that's apparent if you ever listen to Doug and James talk out of character.

They're not supposed to be fun. The state of hollywood isn't fun. Being sarcastic and insincere and loud and sarcastic and retarded in the 2010s contributed to the insincerity and disrespect that's been rampant for the last decade.

nah that’s not gen alpha humor, that’s just terminally online millennial irony that’s been pickled for 15 years

gen alpha humor is subway surfers split screen, skibidi toilet and a vine boom every 3 seconds. this is just 2012 tumblr energy refusing to die.

different flavor of brainrot entirely.
