I don't know how to explain it but how come we don't have any "literary" films anymore? I just watched Seventh Seal and the dialogue all seemed a lot more erudite, a lot more poetic, a lot more profound. Obviously this isn't how real people sound but I feel movies are trying far too hard to be realistic in their dialogue and acting when literature for example has no such concern.

i prefer stuff like the sopranos. the characters talk like idiots, but the poetry is in the story and its world and symbolism. the characters are stupid, but the story is literary. best kind. but i do love good literary dialogue too.

But plays a very tiny role and this image itself is a better experience than watching the movie.If you like that idea I recommend watching The Sandman instead which has a lot of similar things in it and it's actually good. (although varies by episode)
