But they don't really respect the existing source material and they do the same low quality pandering/rehashing that the Star Wars sequels and TV shows did under Disney. Also the whole shiny surface/lense flair aesthetic ended up polluting all of the Trek TV shows from that point onward. Not that it mattered all that much since the TV shows were shit anyway...
