m(ode)RNA and quad-boosted, of course.

This guy died only five years ago. He was at ground zero right after the explosion for several hours. How did he not get fucked by radiation?

Belief in the State gives you a natural immunity to radiation.

he died of cancer years ago
that show was complete bullshit, by the way. they said the 3 divers died. 2 of them are still alive and the third died in like 2014 in a car accident. They have no way of knowing who or if anyone died on that bridge they claimed everyone died watching the explosion from and the woman who had a miscarriage already had like 4 miscarriages by that point and her family had a history of miscarriages. Also her husband wouldn't have been radioactive. the shit irradiated him, but assuming they took off his clothes and washed him he wouldn't have any radioactive material on him. the shit they delt with at the reactor wasn't strong enough to make the fire fighters give off radiation
>>
>>220077237
the 3 divers who went under the structure to pump out the water lived and the only one of the 3 who died died by being hit by a car
>>
I refused to watch this show for so long as I knew it was in english and it was pissing me off they couldn't atleast do it in Russian/Belarusian/Ukrainian with english subs. But none of these cunts would slander their motherlands

To be fair, the vast majority of people since the atomic age had their understanding of radioactivity irreparably warped by media fearmongering, government propaganda and scientists generally being bad at PR. Even I don't know how the fuck that shit works, I admit. To a layman the expert discourse around Chernobyl just sounds like:
>It was the worst thing ever
>Actually no it wasn't
>But actually it kind of was
>But actually no it wasn't, like at all
>But also maybe it was lol
>>
>>220079379
I still don't understand how the concept of drama that is produced for a certain regional demographic being presented in the language of that demographic triggers so many autists. Not just Chernobyl. This is like a monthly spergout on this board.
>>
>>220077237
all the shit in the show was way overblown for dramatic effect, kinda ruins the show retroactively

chernobyl wasn't great, but they kept running the other reactors until like 10 years ago. I think like 1 person died from radiation at fukashima and other than the very, very early nuclear accidents like the demon core, no one in the US has ever died from a nuclear reactor accident and people live in heroshima and nakasaki
unless you are like right on top of the reactor the issue is the dust and radiation is also cumulative so it's not great to hang out in a radioactive place and certain radioactive particles last longer than others

>>220079748
Not really. The shit you do see were based on real accounts, everything else is just speculative presumptions by Legasov. It was his job to fearmonger and judging by his memoir he was terrified of it himself, for good reason.
The real depressing shit is what it did to the ecosystem on a molecular level long term, and the reality that it could have been far worse if not for aforementioned fearmongering.

I have friends that unironically believed nuclear plants spewed toxic gas from the cooling towers thanks to the Simpsons.
