why do vast majority of sitcoms become irrelevant? Feels like Seinfeld and Friends are the only two that still gets talked aboutHuge shows like MASH, Taxi, Cheers and picrel are almost never talked about anymore
>>220076470It's because the way sitcoms endured after they've been canceled was getting rerun in syndicationSeinfeld and Friends endured because they were on Netflix at a time when people used Netflix the most, I don't know if the other shows were ever on there during that time but it looks like you have to watch MASH on Disney+/Hulu and Taxi on Paramount+. At least you can watch Happy Days for free on Pluto
>>220076470>>220078191No they were simply the most popular
>>220076470How many elder niggas be on here? Raise your hand elder niggas. Anytime there’s a thread about these pre 90s sitcom shows they get 10-15 replies before they’re archived. All the shows you mentioned, great, all the elderly people clamoring to talk about them? Na. Not here bub, try pudding hour at the old folks. They still play tv land there.
>>220078455There's like gotta be a hundred at most. And they're all on at different times and even better they're all too lazy to post usually. They're here. They just don't care.

I put little marks on the veggies as goalposts, if you can make the squash disappear past this sharpie mark I'll set up three fat lines for you. What I'm trying to say is what does your mom look like and how old are you?
>>220079316She's a square who doesn't do drugs, looks like you're stuck with both your moms I mean those two women still.
>>220076470I think All in the Family still carries a little bit of relevence
>>220079360Doesn't do drugs anymore. The zucchini broke her.
>>220076470culture stagnated after the 90s. what sitcoms have come out since then? the office and big bang theory? Plus something like happy days is super far removed from anyone watching now since it was a show in the 70s about growing up in the 50s it's like how that 70s show is less popular than friends or seinfeld
