Knowing zero about project hail mary and just reading these reviews what I'm gathering is that the movie contains basically an isekai ending where some character ends up and stays in another world. Are we supposed to be surprised that Asians are glazing an isekai? Is this really noteworthy?

>Travelling manually to another planet without teleporting or reincarnating is an Isekai now
Is all science fiction Isekai? What about travelling on our own planet? Is 20,000 leagues under the sea an Isekai? Is going on a vacation an Isekai?
