Imagine if the pinnacle of your career was getting fired
>>220088258The mask was his pinnacle and I dont think him getting fired fucked his career, it was simply a casting mistake but it did fuck him as if he nailed that role, he would have had 2 more movies and been a massive household name.MJF was already popular because of the TV show he was on and that just made him a big name, but then his IRL illness hit his career.Fame would have been stolz if he didnt fuck it up.
>>220088258That actually sounds incredibly based.
I've always found this story to be incredibly weird and it feels like they are not saying everythingLike they claim that they wanted Fox because it was a comedy, when BTTF1 is not a comedy. Even to suggest that they wanted it lighter is strange - do you remember the bit where Biff gets knocked out so he doesn't rape the guy's mother? It isn't a light film
Did he still get paid for it though?
>>220090370Apparently yeah
>>220090360it is a comedy you dummy
The pinnacle of my career was making it to the last two for a lead in a Apple TV movie. Still working though.
>>220090360It's a comedy from a time where a comedy wouldn't have to be all lighthearted and scenes didn't have to be skit-based. The Goonies is a children's film that starts out with a guy pretending to kill himself in prison and then murdering a guard, followed by a violent chase.
>>220090360its a high concept comedy/adventure movie
>>220090483lost it to rhea seehorn huh
>>220090602It was a movie, not a show.
>>220090677no need to insult rhea dude
>>220088258>I tried so hard and got so far>But in the end, it doesn't even matter>I had to fall to lose it all>But in the end, it doesn't even matterHe seems like he could play film roles for Mark Hammill or Topher Grace.
