i hate the Wilhelm scream so much. It's so stupid. Repeating a joke a thousand times doesn't make it funny. It's also not an insider joke. Everyone knows about it already. And it just takes you right out of the movie. For the next minute you are just going to think about this stupid Wilhelm scream and be distracted. It's immersion breaking. I would push a red button that kills everyone, who ever inserted the Wilhelm scream into their movies, unless more than 50% of the world's population pressed a blue button to prove to me that the Wilhelm scream is funny.
