What are some characters that the writers wanted you to hate/disagree with, but audiences sided with instead?
>>220098475
>>220098475Logan Roy
>>220098832She definitely has a Pakistani bf.
>>220098860You definitely have a jewish nose.
>>220098832
>>220098475Pre-revelation Rust Cohle
>>220098690he's literally me bros....
>>220100015I can't take mauler seriously anymore, he just sounds too much in love with his own voice. His marvels review just descends into pointless word salad like he's trying to reach a word count in an essay.
>>220100441>anymoreif it took you more than than a couple minutes to realize that autistic pseud has a 2 digit iq you are hopeless
>>220100441It's just indulging when all limitations like working hours for income or video length are removed.
>>220100441I don't care about mauler. The Don is just a good example of them accidentally making a character who is more likable than the character you're supposed to like.
>>220100172It's really crazy how the writers were so blinded by ideology they didn't even realize that they were destroying their own message and making Ken the hero.>Barbieland is far more oppressive of Kens than the western world is of women>Even if you thought that the real western world is comparable, why should we care about the plight of women if you don't care about the plight of men should the roles be reversed?>The real world is shown as entirely irredeemable where idiotic men run everything, something that the existence of this movie alone disproves.>Ken is shown basic dignity in the real world for the first time, which is treated as a bad thing.>The Barbies are a strong and empowered matriarchy, but are so weak that Ken is able to completely take over in a day.>That whole cringey roastie rant is made up of almost entirely things that gay men and women do to other women, like "You can't seem like you WANT to lose weight!">Barbie, the villain of the movie, rejects the message of "Men and women should work together and compliment each other's strengths", and instead declares that Barbieland was perfect when half the population had no rights.>The Kens, after becoming toxic villains who.. treat the Barbies the same way they'd been treated by them, still inexplicably keep pretending the tranny Barbie is an actual female (despite how toxic and male they are)
>>220104540You actually watched that shit? Gay
>>220104737Of course not, but I watched a comprehensive video about it. But even if I had, most men who saw it weren't gay, they were just poor souls who were dragged to it by their girlfriends.
Why is this phenomenon so common these days?
>>220104852>Of course not, but I watched a comprehensive video about it.But why
>>220105319Because it's funny and hating things is fun. Everyone knows this. Don't pretend you don't watch videos picking apart things you hate too.
>>220105499Yeah but with discernment and qualitative meaning. The Barbie movie?? That's... really gay
>>220099311My Legate
>>220098475Archie Bunker wins this thread. They got it totally wrong and it was embarrassing. We are supposed to hate a conservative homeowner and cheer for his slut daughter and her unemployed bf?
>>220104852>Of course not, but I watched a comprehensive video about it.Highly based then.
>>220104540>>Barbie, the villain of the movie, rejects the message of "Men and women should work together and compliment each other's strengths", and instead declares that Barbieland was perfect when half the population had no rights. And then immediately FUCKING LEAVES
This movie is a great hate-watch for all the reasons in >>220104540 I couldnt believe how stupid the writers were. Ken is the “villain” but his actions are all completely justified, and at the end he makes amends and no longer cares for Barbie’s opinion and just affirms his own self-respect. Ken is the one who has an actual fucking character arc! Barbie has NO character arc, she simply tries to make everything go back to the way it was which obviously wasn’t working, then permanently fucks off to the real world to get a real vagina (kek, so what does that say about the tranny Barbie?) the movie was so incoherent with its message- truly an insightful look into the foid mind.
>>220105689>Yeah but with discernment and qualitative meaning. You typing this cringe pseud sentence was more gay than if I had watched Barbie 100 times.
