The only character with something resembling a plotline is the guy who just married Sweeney and "rich kid owes money to shady people" isn't a really entertaining story. At least the first two seasons were about highschool drama but with teenagers doing really crazy stuff. Now it's just random adults with barely any connection between them being dumb.

Same as nowNot the same as now. Just look at Nate. He had to deal with Maddy, Cassie, his feelings for Jules and the whole deal with his dad. All of that is gone. He only shares a plot with Cassie, but she's more of a prop for his money troubles than an actual character.It wasn't really good or "insanely tight", but at least they all shared a place where their drama would develop and bleed out to other characters. Now everybody's in a vacuum and I can't help but wonder why would anyone care about Maddy's work as a manager or Rue's absurd shenanigans in a show about teenage drama.

>>220126327Naa. The first two seasons were great, but too many years have passed for them to make another high school season. Season 2 was out in 2022. It's time to move on, they can still be doing high school shit 4 years later. A timeskip was the best way to handle this, and honestly the new season is kinda refreshing
