It was great, even though everyone loves to hate things here. That's not to say it was perfect, it still has the same main flaw it's had since season one, and this latest season lacked the multi-threaded approach of previous seasons, but it still had good character development.
I see people complaining about 3 main things - First about Mark, and yeah he can come across as a whiny pussy, but he's had an insane amount of trauma in a short time period, if anything it's amazing it's taken him this long to even get close to snapping.
Second I've seen is around Eve's abortion, but it seems most people are actually just mad she got fat like her mum, and they're trying to justify it from the abortion perspective.
Lastly about the animation, but frankly I don't see an issue here, they're churning it out at speed and frankly if something had to suffer I'd sacrifice a little animation to keep voice acting, dialogue, story, pacing, direction, and about 100 other things on point.
The only issue I still have with the show is power consistency - In season one mark gets almost killed by Battle Beast with a blow that didn't even break the floor of the room he was in, despite often being fine with being thrown through buildings. Thragg punched Nolan so hard he went into orbit with a blow that should by all rights have ripped his head off, the same Nolan that struggled with a few androids in season one that Mark tears through later with minimal effort.
It's a nitpick though, show is great, it only makes me sad that Seth Rogan is involved, puts this horrible stain on it.

Mark comes out of his coma, and then in the next scene they're at the attack on Telescria, but it's set up before hand that they're deep into Viltrumite space, nobody is coming for them, and they have no ship. Allen and Zoe are hiding out on the Viltrumite ship for weeks before they escape.
So the issue isn't the timeline, the issue is that they never explain how they get back.

My biggest grievance is that they made Mark an even bigger pussy than in the comics. After 3 seasons of this nigga getting his ass kicked every episode, Conquest Part 2 and Thragg Showdown is the moment in the comics where people start saying

I think in the comic he joins in the fighting fairly quickly, but he does wait.
However, his waiting isn't as significant because the Viltrumites aren't jobbers in the original and there's only about a dozen at the actual fight: each normie Viltrumite is 90% a match for Thaedus or Allen, so the Coalition are hopelessly outmatched without the ragnarrs.
So Thragg watching the fight in the comic is more so watching his side dominate for a couple minutes, then when the Ragnarrs start actually inflicting casualties he steps in.

Bringing back Kate and Immortal multiple times only to write them out is a good example of how directionless this show is.

Almost every plot point is like this. It gets recycled a bunch of times until the original storyline has no impact anymore, then it just gets forgotten.

This bothered me immensely, on multiple levels. I was expecting there to be some kind of reveal in this sense, but nope, she just seems to be able to barely hold her own against a Viltrumite, which not only makes zero sense, but also raises questions why she's not a bigger deal on Earth. Also, why is she on Earth? Is she an alien, or a human with alien tech? Why is her dad sitting in space?
Even putting all that aside, if the race is such a threat, why aren't they involving the rest of the fucking race? If one of them can fight well, and there's a whole fucking PLANET of them, then why won't they fight? It's not even the race, it's their tech, which is even more confusing because they wouldn't even need to fight, they could just build a bunch of suits and have an army of these fuckers.
Of everything in the show, this makes the least sense by miles. The only conclusion I can make is that they want to push the character as a spin-off thing so they shoehorned her into the show, but they couldn't have done a worse job. I can't even fan-theory a way for it to make sense.
