>>220104828It has some Richard Dawkins vibes, specially in the part where the old redhead woman sings a Harry Styles song, which is ridiculous for many reasons. Totally insane. The movie is really good in the parts where the old redhead woman doesn't appear. The beginning of the movie is pretty cool, and when it's starts to focus on Grace in space it is really fucking cool, specially his friendly relationship with Rocky. In conclusion, the first 1/3 of the movie sucks because of the redhead woman, I think they tried to cast Jessica Chestein, but she was tired of scifi shit. It's jew manipulation , they tried to deny God and tried to deviate from Jesus teachings. Specially when it comes to faith, love and respect for your fellow men. The remaining 2/3 it's super fun, cheerful and highlights the best in our human race, it's two bros having the time of their lives in a spaceship , hanging out and working together, sharing stories, drinking beer and smoking buds.

I was a hater of the film when the trailer dropped, it looked like a quippy manchild or children’s Insterstellar. But it turned out to just be a good and optimistic movie. I should have never doubted the Goose

The "Time go fishing" sequence was so cool in theaters but the more i think about it the less sense it makes. I'm not seeing why Goose had to space walk to retrieve the sample. Or at least, why he had to do it while they were still in the atmosphere. And then he risked the entire mission when he dropped it and jumped for it. I've heard from book readers that it is more clear in the book that there are no do-overs but in the movie Rocky says they can just try again so I'm confused.
