tarantino does a good job with his soundtracks

I'd agree with you OP. It's extremely suspenseful, kind of perfect really.

Pitt's delivery of "(LAUGHS) Yes, we do." is so picture perfect; he genuinely looked like he was born to play this role

I remember on of Jay Baumen's criticisms of OUaTiH was the scenes with Leo acting in that western show and Brad facing down the cult of women. Its so obvious Tarentino was showing similar scenes but one was "fake" and the other was "real" like he was so bewildered at those scenes and didnt understand what Quint was doing. He really does punch above his weight class in terms of understanding film. Unless its some shitty horror movie. Go watch it, it will make you lose respect for Jay if you already hadn't

Agreed, the Manson family ranch suspense scene is the best. Haven't seen Tarantino do much suspense in his films and he did a really good job here.

I particularly like that Brad Pittu just drives away in the nick of time without anything happening. To use the cliche it did subvert my expectations in a good way that made the scene feel more real.

Best moment has to be the flamethrower though.

respect? LOL all his does is repeat the popular opinion on movies forums, what he reads in IMDB trivia and what he hears in DVD commentary

Yeah, the whole scene is great and really comfy.

I like the scene where they were in Italy. Any scene with Rick and Cliff interacting was good. Also, the ending was excellent.
