It's a shame how many people write off animated films as 'for kids' and don't even bother to look at them. Obviously this spiderman movie is a children's film but when you imagine the amount of work that must have gone into making this it's insane. Especially compared to live action superhero slop. An actual work of art.
First movie was great second movie was horrible, most of the runtime is miles humiliation ritual, if he did a school shooting on the spider people who were cucking him literally and figuratively for the whole movie I would've been rooting for him. And there's no third act, it feels unfinished, you can't just cut the movie in the middle and say "oh yeah, the resolution is in the next movie", even if the third movie came out just a year after the second one that would've been unacceptable.
