Just watched it and I sorta get why nofun critics hate it. There's almost like barely any plot in here. So many interesting things you could do here but it's a feel good plot and I can hardly blame it for that. I think they were expecting Whiplash 2 (funny since Miles Teller is here) but instead just got a fun concert film. If this movie was OC, I would probably like it a lot less since it needed at least a layer or two to be more interesting and as a MJ film, while I do get why they didn't, it would've been more entertaining to see how much of a perfectionist and weirdo he was but fuck hearing Off the Wall on the big screen is a huge plus for it for me anyways.
