How come /tv/ never talks about this Zack Snyder film?
>inb4 didn't watch it
Those of you that did watch it, why do you never talk about it?

Because despite the w40k aesthetic for some of the characters, I think the plot was weaksauce and a little bit too focussed on what the woman had done. I would much rather get a Birdseye overview of the vastness of the empire they're rebelling against. And realistically, there is a ton of potential for stories on other planets.

Because Disney killed the Star Wars IP. Doesn't matter how good Snyder is this is Disney Star Wars.

didn't watch it

...cause he is shit.. notice we also dont talk about uwe boll all that much
>>
Part 1 was too bloated, I have no idea how there was enough on the cutting room floor for an extended cut. I'll never watch it. Then nothing happens in Part 2.

I like it, but the ending reveal is poorly delivered, and there's little chance the story will ever continue.

People like you seriously need to shut the fuck up.

It should've never gone the formulaic hero's journey route. Imagine how cool an anthology-like movie akin to Three Thousand Years of Longing could've been. Imagine Metabarons.

You can't do anything epic on Netflix. It doesn't work. Their shitty streaming model ensures that most of the intended audience ends up with bitrate-raped garbage that looks and feels wrong. Obviously, most people don't care that much, and the first Rebel Moon performed okay, but Netflix's marketing strategy did blow crusty ass, leaving little to no marketing effort for the second film, and consequently barely anyone noticed it eventually dropping on the platform.

This is how I felt.
>>
Cause Snyder got too high on his own supply and tried to lens these films instead of getting a DP (maybe to save on budget cause of Netflix)
>>
>>220137436
That wasn't an issue here (unlike AotD, where it was him taking responsibility for wanting it shot with busted equipment).
>>
After Prometheus happened, movies/tv shows that have scenes centered around slimy grossout gimmicks with tentacles, face sucking objects/things, etc. were gimmicks that I vowed to quit forever. That meant as soon as I got to the snake sex scene in Rebel Moon I closed my media player and had the torrent cancelled with full file deletion, and was moved on from that IP faster than the tentacle fighting dojo scene with the tentacle ghost asian boy from Umbrella Academy

too boring

I immediately disregard anything that is released on Netflix. The cinematography pisses me off, the cgi pisses me off, the writing pisses me off. I have accepted the algorithm is not meant for me
