Did you guys actually like Furiosa?
>>220136305Nope
not really
>>220136392what a fall from graceher body was kino for so many movies, then it died with her face
>>220136305no
>>220136305Saw it for the first time only recently and thought it was great.
>>220136305No
>>220136305She looks like she was drawn by a Japanese woman.
I thought it was great
>>220136305I liked the middle. The part where she was working for the Immortan was great and had some really neat action scenes. The start with her lesbo moms was dull and the revenge ending dragged on for way too long.Road Warrior > Mad Max > Fury Road = Thunderdome > Furiosa. Furiosa is the worst Mad Max film; but I still liked it.
No I did not.
>>220136305i got a global ban for saying shes hot
>>220136707correct order
>>220136305I enjoyed the movie but she sounded like a man whenever she spoke. Her voice is awful. Thankfully she barely had any lines at all.
She's like Margot Robbie. Heavily dependent of make-up, angles and whatever else the magic of cinema can offer, otherwise she's stuff a skelly and/or fridge with very little going on.
>>220137026yeah but you'd cream your pants if she looked at you
>>220136305alien bitch lost
Skinny is hot
>>220136305No. The cg action slop was hobbit tier
>>220137026this wasn't true in like 2016, she just dropped off
>>220137140lol I forgot Borderlands happened
>>220137140>they made a kraven movie Wtf when? I had no idea lmaoAlso why tf would they make a kraven movie, only niche comicfags know/care about him what a fucking stupid idea
>>2201374322024
>>220136707There's something Biblical about Furiosa though the way it depicts the warring tribes and the alliances they make and break and just the scope of it all. Like it really makes you think about the way civilization has to scrap itself together. And how people get to the top or bottom of it (living underground and eating human corpses). The giant army of bikes traveling through the desert. It's epic af
>>220136305An enjoyable 6/10, but realistically the worst film in its franchise.
>>220136305It's impossible to watch it without thinking "this isn't as good as Fury Road" the whole time.
>>220137535yeah it wasn't bad but it was so obviously a step down from fury road that it made it hard to enjoy
>>220137507Furiosas story as well, is like a character in the Bible. So much happens to her and she is in the middle of huge events but little things as well like her hair ending up attached to a tree that grows out of a cliff side. The tree growing as she ages out of childhood. Who writes such things? The symbolism and nuance is fantastic.
>>220137507Yeah, its got some cool stuff in it. Unfortunately the coolest part of the movie the war between the Immortan and Dementus gets glossed over in a montage so we can get 20 minutes of Furiosa slowly taking revenge on Dementus. If they'd cut the time spent on Furiosa's childhood in half, cut the time spent on her revenge on Dementus in half and then given that 20 minutes to the war between the Immortan and Dementus then it could have been one of the best Mad Max films. Instead its like Thunderdome, a film with some great moments dragged down by an act that just goes on for too long with little happening.
>>220137507This is why I like the movie. It's a start-to-finish account of the rise and fall of Dementus.
>>220136707Thunderdome grinds to a halt the moment Max is exiled from the city
>>220136305Yea it was coolI thought ayy lmao did good as furiosa too
>>220138283Yeah, the problem is that Miller was really enamored with the idea of the tribal kids and the cargo cult so they get shoehorned into the movie. Apparently he insisted on having them in there saying if they didn't make it in he wouldn't make the movie. So you've got this divergent plot element that really has nothing to do with what's going on in Barter Town so the plot just sort of stops while you go off into this second act tangent before it resumes when they head back to Barter Town in the third act.If the film had stayed focused on Auntie and Master Blaster and Barter Town it could have delivered a better story instead of meandering the way it does.I still really like Thunderdome. Like Furiosa it has some really cool ideas; but its flawed and it spends too much time on tangents to the main story.
>>220136305never saw it but i think anya is cute as hell
