The Hitman movie was severely underrated.

I hate how it teased a sex scene but then 47 just cockblocks himself by injecting her with a sedative
>>
I've always had the suspicion she was passed around every celebrity sex ring known to man.

Has 47 canonically had sex?
>>
>>220137587
Never been confirmed in the game's canon

>>

>games are about being as inconspicuous as possible
>ideal way to kill people is making it look like an accident or frame someone else
>character canonically is so subtle and effective he's basically just an urban legend that few people believe really exists
And yet both adaptations tried to make it into generic action movies.
This is one of the few times a video game franchise would actually fit the big screen well and they refuse to do it properly. Just some handsome but offputting autist travelling to exotic destinations, being completely oblivious to how much his hot milf handler wants to fuck his brains out, learning about his interesting scumbag targets, adopting fun disguises and doing cool shit to blend in, then methodically executing super elaborate rube goldberg style sequences of events to take his targets down. The new games are basically styled like a tv show already, each "episode" being a new target and a new location, and as he goes through them he starts to learn about what links them, discover a larger conspiracy, and starts taking personal action and forming his own identity rather than being an emotionless psycho pawn.

Hitman Absolution tried to do a 180 on that and it failed miserably

I felt like The Killer was the closest thing we've gotten to a movie capturing the spirit of these games.

i wonder if that post about Sherlock could be rewritten to be about Hitman
