Why was this movie so unappealing? Harley Quinn is the most beloved character of the Batman saga.
It should have been more comic accurate
the rest of the characters in the girl gang were poor representations of the comic characters. Shitty Black Canary, shitty Cassandra, Huntress, everything. Only Harley is good in this movie. I'm a Harley fan so I enjoyed it but Margot Robbie carried the whole thing because it's a shitshow without her

It just wasn't especially good. Also, Harley's costume wasn't great. The short pig tails look worse than the long ones and the weird overalls just look awkward.

I have to wonder just how much anti-DC sentiment exists purely because Disney paid off far more journalists than WB ever did tbdesu.I don’t care much for either, but have seen a lot of the movies and nothing WB/DC did was any more offensive than what Marvel put out. Disney just had a much bigger and better marketing budget to convince the plebs that their toys were better (and the average /tv/ poster isn’t immune to that either). DC definitely fucked up their structure overall in an attempt to catch up with the MCU but people here go fucking insane as though the DC movies are the most reprehensible things ever created, complete insanity.
