> STRANGER THINGS: TALES FROM '85’ has already been renewed for Season 2 at Netflix

Ok calling it now next thing they will do is do Eleven spin-off and reveal that she's alive
>>
Murray is the only character worth a spinoff
>>
Remember when the 80s show set in Indiana didnt mention the 1987 Indiana Hoosiers winning a national title? Fake 80s nostalgia without true understanding
>>
>>220142198
And it will be about what? No upside down no spin off maybe a movie
>>
This show has been dragged out longer than the 80s themselves. It's like MASH going on longer than the Korean War. Just let it go.

At least they're doing it animated this time so they can take their sweet time without worrying about the kids getting into puberty and turning into creaturas

I still don't understand how people watched 5 whole seasons of Stranger Things.
I really liked S1, thought it was a fun 80's horror homage that I thought wrapped up pretty well.
I just felt like I had my fill, and that it was a pretty perfect amount of 80's horror nostalgia.
5 seasons of it would've gotten incredibly old (probably midway through s2)

If you haven't dropped the show at the end of season 2 you were gonna watch to the finale to see how it ends
>>
I dropped the show in the second season where the autistic girls finds her sister and they have 40 minutes of girl bossing montages with epic 80's music, nothing moces forward and the previous episode where Silent hill takes over the town and monsters start killing people is not brought up in literally one scene
Does the show get better?

Yes and no? I mean that episode is an outlier, considered the worst even amongst the fanbase.
The show basically maintains course in that it's all nonsense that's going nowhere, content to rely on plot conveniences and recycling character drama. The only reason you might want to watch S3 is if you liked Billy and want to see his story play out. Everything else is dogshit. S4 is especially bad, despite some people who will try and convince you it's the best since S1. It's utter nonsense and is a last ditch effort to set up a bunch of crap they'll eventually retcon or reinvent in S5 anyway.
Speaking of S5, I never finished it. I watched the first four episodes and was so fucking checked out I just gave up.
>tl;dr
No. S1 was obviously made as a standalone entity that unexpectedly blew up, so Duff and Duffer took Jewflix's money and ran with it. Can't say I blame them, but holy fuck the show overall is as bad as late stage Game of Thrones.

Also, i was getting increasingly more fatigued how the show was blatantly shipping and pushing the blue eyed red head delinquent girl to be with the black kid.
