You used to get a bare minimum of socialization back in the days before the internet (and when the internet was slow and lived on a stationary desktop PC in your house). You used to have to wait a week for a new episode of a show you liked, no spending a weekend binge-watching a whole season of TV. Staying home was boring so even the weird kids were exploring the neighborhood with their friends and going to public places like the mall. Nowadays it feels pretty rare to have had that all-American middle class childhood with stuff like summer camp that taught you to be independent and different after-school clubs to socialize you. You're way more likely to have a poor single mom who moved around constantly and couldn't afford extracurriculars, protective suburban parents who babysat you with an iPad and tracked your movements, or strict immigrant parents who didn't let you do anything fun. The idea of someone not having sex was totally absurd in the 2000's. Why not just hook up with a woman in your tier if there's an equal number of guys and girls?Also autism is fake.
