If you were Bojack how would you fix your life?
>>
>>220144469
Stop being miserable
>>
>>220144489
And how do you do that?
>>
Get into a rehab and start looking for normal relationships, but i think he has mental issues so you cant just say "do this"
>>
I wouldn't fix a single thing. I would listen to his normal words. And that's what nobody did
>>
Imagine being rich and wanting sympathy from poors.
>>
>>220144469
>Go to regab early
>Hang out with Peanutbutter more
>Don’t fuck around with the piss easy jobs that PC gives you
>>
>>220144503
By choosing to.

If I were Bojack my life would mostly be fixed. I'd just stop drinking and then enjoy being rich and not having to work. Travel. Maybe take some acting jobs that genuinely interest me or be at a convention once in a while.

Everything wrong with his life was him being unable to enjoy it. I'm pretty sure I would be.
>>
>>220144469
I saw a couple of episodes of this. How come he's a horse?
>>
>let's leeches into his life that give him shit all the time

He should have just hollywoo. Being around people was his actual problem since they're all shitty
>>
>>220145534
it's funny cause he a horse guy but says normal words
a bit hypocritical considering how many fucking times Family Guy tried to have "serious" plotlines with Brian
>>
>>220145557
When he escaped to New Mexico he fucked up that too
>>
>>220144469
Go to rehab in s2e1. The final moment of the last s1 episode eventually became retarded
>>
>>220144646
It could've worked for him, big demand for "dad bod" types. I find Bojack hot myself.
>>
>>220144469
Retire, Move to Thailand and live out the rest of my life fucking traps and all the underage as far as the eye can see
>>
>>220144469
I would continue fucking teenage deers and former child actresses on drugs
>>
>>220144469
He's famous, he's tall and he has a horse cock. Why exactly is his life bad?
>>
>>220144469
Normal words...
>>
His main issue is that he doesn't know if he's more horse than a man or more man than a horse. Sometimes the horse takes over and he acts animalistic and instinctive but he can't reconcile it with his human side and societal expectations.
>>
But I'm not Bojack.
>>
What's there to fix? If I was famous and rich I would be getting wasted and doing drugs with 16 year old models all day.
>>
>>220145534
>How come he's a horse?
Because that makes it easier to sell the project to both the producers and the customers. It was quite literally pitched as "what if depression but horse" and it worked.
>>
>>220148246
>16 year old models all day.
Ok pedo
>>
>mfw people watched this shit
>>
>>220144469
By drinking more. His problem was he tried to be "normal" instead of just accepting he is alcoholic asshole and enjoyed his wealth.
>>
>>220144469
Get a creative hobby where you make something. If you're living through life just consuming then of course you'll be miserable
>>
>>220144469
Do psilocybin mushrooms, drive to Mexico for some good old Peyote and fly to Peru to drink Ayahuasca in a shaman ritual. Depression gone forever. Agreeableness up to +2 instantly
>>
>>220150297
Kek. What's crazy is that this seems the most viable balls-to-the-wall solution in here. This could actually work and be in line with his character.
>>
>>220144469
He should've got with Diane in Season 4 and then quit drinking.
>>
>>220144469
If I were Bojack the universe around me would bend to ensure that all my good deeds and attempts to get better were foiled by shitty people and something akin to plot contrivance
>>
>>220144469
Semen retention and pineal gland decalcification protocol for a year
>>
>>220144469
I haven't watched this, what's his problem exactly? Doesn't he have a huge horse cock?
>>
>>220150555
This was the most frustrating part of the series. Kind of asinine to have the thematic through line of "The universe isn't out to get you, you need to be a better person" when the universe is actually written to be out to get him.
>>
>>220144469
fuckton of shrooms + ayahuasca, if that doesn't work nothing will.
>>
>>220144469
I wouldn't. I'd be the same as him. That's the thing about what-ifs in terms of
>If I were xyz I wouldn't do xyz
No you'd do the same things, because if you didn't, then you wouldn't be that person.
>>
>>220144469
Exercise plus a productive goal. He has to commit to both and accept that things will be difficult. Having an easy life ruined him.

>i have no agency whatsoever
You are the biggest bitch.

Ty
>>220153801
We all have agency, and if you were someone else, you'd do what they did under their agency, learned lessons, etc. That's how it works. If you were Truman, you would have made the same decision to nuke the japs because that's what he did. This isn't difficult to grasp. I have to leave the bathroom now. Have a good day gentlemen.

Theres nothing wrong with his life, he's just neurotic. There's no fixing it.
>>
>>220144469
Get as far away from Hollywood as humanly possible.
Like live in Bali on the cheap.

>sack off that evil gook whore that injects negativity into every situation

Why the long face?

I'm not celebrity rich but hit £1 mil at 25 and will probably be at £5 mil by 35 (note UK is much poorer than USA, this is unheard of here). Shitty abusive/poor childhood, don't see my mum and never will again, see dad very rarely. Closest family member is my aunt who is a mentally ill NEET.

I'm not going to claim it sucks or anything but it definitely has issues with lack of direction and needing to make your own goals in life. It's also incredibly isolating because basically no one is in the same position and it's really hard to relate to other people.

I'm also a bit jaded by it all, like why did none of the normalgroids do anything when I was obviously being abused as a child yet now they're all buddy buddy. Mentally I can pass as normal but definitely still have issues from everything which went on. Normalgroids (and 4channers) also don't seem to grasp how it is possible to be rich/successful and unhappy, like they literally think it solves everything despite the fact celebs off themselves or crash out constantly.
>>
>>220154850
Do you have to live in the UK to continue making money?
>>
>>220154887
No I moved to Jersey Channel Islands, this is a tax haven near France UK citizens can enter without a visa.

I trade stocks and crypto for income, I am also a medical doctor but don't practice anymore.
>>
>>220153510
Bad shit is always going to happen. The real world sucks ass.

The lesson you're missing is that you gotta learn to take your licks, roll with the punches, and don't self-destruct if you want to build any sort of life for yourself.

Do you remember the running baboon w the headband?
>>
>>220154975
I was going to recommend something like that but it looks like you know what you are doing.
Just moving States saved me a lot.
>>
>>220155023
No, I understand the message and I agree in theory, but it's undermined by the delivery.
>>
>>220153839
You say we all have agency then present events as done deals. These hypotheticals, they aren't done. That's the question being posed.
It's not even really about going oh i would just do XYZ. It's about looking at how you can look at things differently to THEN achieve a different outcome.
FAGGOT
>>
>>220155029
Thankyou

I would have tried to move to the USA as a doctor myself if trading wasn't going so well. For most people pay is so much higher and tax is lower, but for me I effectively pay 0% legally here whereas in USA I don't know a strategy for getting out of it plus my "job" pays the same in every country. Combine that with the fact getting in as a doctor would be a real grind and very limiting in terms of flexibility I decided against the move.

What's your job/business? Congrats on moving to the USA too I know it's not easy. Or are you American by birth and changing states. Nicely done regardless.
>>
>>220155118
He understands. He's just being an actual fag.
>>
>>220144469
stop drinking and doing hard drugs, ghost 90% of my acquaintances forever because they'll only make my life worse, especially diane, then enjoy life and occasionally hang out with mr peanut butter.
>>
>>220144469
Yeah, that's a major reason why I dislike this show so much. Bojack has life better than 99.999% of the people on earth but he still acts like a miserable drunk idiot. It's really unpleasant and not very interesting.

But to answer your question all he needs to do is take a hard look in the mirror, realize he's lazy/middle-aged but everything else in his life is objectively fantastic. Just find a nice woman, mellow out, be grateful and learn to appreciate his great luck in life. A bad self-help book or a week in therapy (to take seriously) is all he needs.

>Just find a nice woman, mellow out, be grateful and learn to appreciate his great luck in life. A bad self-help book or a week in therapy (to take seriously) is all he needs.
This is mostly true, but he did all of this and still couldn't help self-sabotaging because he hated himself and didn't feel like he deserved to be happy. He had to resolve that first. Unironically the ayahuasca suggestions would have helped this.
