>>220145459Is this the actress who had ridiculously kissable looking lips when she was a minor in that one movie about the evil old man and the 2 siblings??

>>220145459hard to believe Mike Flanagan used to make movies without monologuing
I’ve been trying to find the name of a movie I watched on VHS when I was a kid. I don’t remember much (it’s a horror movie, of course), except that the action took place in some kind of pit or cave (maybe a crypt) and there was a scene where nails were being pulled out of a coffin. The main characters were trapped in some kind of room where there was a coffin, and nails were being pulled out of it before the corpse got out. I also remember a scene where the dead were sitting at a table having dinner, and someone was sucking a worm out of a rotten apple, but maybe that’s from a different movie and my memories have gotten mixed up.
>>220145497that's doctor who's personal whore, show some respect.
>Evil Mirrors EditionFor me, it's The Devil's Mirror (1972)
>>220145497The Lemony Snicket one you mean, and nah
>>220145529Clara was always my favorite, but Amy comes in at a close second place
>Evil Mirrors EditionIt's not great, but it's not bad either. And if I remember correctly, there's a cute goth girl in the lead role and some tits
>>220145540What thebfuck thats the mask guy
watch Mirrors (Red edition)
>>220145454Yeah it really feels like Evil Dead Rise II. My biggest gripe was it was too long.
>>220145702Did you know The Mask was originally going to be a horror film? It was directed by Chuck Russell who did Dream Warriors and The Blob.
>>220145807Why didn't they just let him make EVR2? The Evil Dead Burns teaser didn't impress me. As I understand it, Evil Dead Rise had a storyline that was supposed to continue in the sequel.
>>220145942>The Mask vs. Art
>>220145974Most directors want to keep moving up to bigger passion projects rather than sequels. I'm guessing he had enough ideas while writing EDR that he was passionate about to push for it. Plus it means they get to give ED to a new director. They're already filming a sequel to Burn and it's not even out yet.
>>220145571movie kinda sucks, and rainbow can be kinda cute sometimes but not in this one, she looks more like boy george than the winona ryder transporter accident she's sold as.
>>220146249I blame Raimi. He should have hired a director for the trilogy, not just for a single film. The Evil Dead Black Book suffered the same fate.
>>220145459what went wrong with flanagan? oculus was kinda kino, now he makes horror for teen girls.
>>220145974Burn will be better than Rise
>>220146359The Haunting of Hill House was a huge success and everyone started to see him as some kind of messiah.I only just realized but he's directing the new horror/capeshit Clayface.
>>220145459Most of the Chucky movies are really fucking bad, director Tom Holland was carrying the first movie hard, after he left Don Mancini got more and more up his own ass with his faggotry, the later movies are particularly bad, Chucky is obviously just Mancini's self insert now, that's why he always wins in the later movies and TV series and then goes on a rant about how he "might be a serial killer but at least he isn't a bigot who refuses to address people by their preferred pronouns" in the TV series no wonder the upcoming movie is rumored to be a reboot, I doubt that would be enough to fix the mess later movies made tho
>>220145708watch Mirrors 2 (Unrated)
>>220146497I'm gonna be rating those titties
>>220146465idk to me they're like Halloween films. doesn't matter how much they suck, it has a floor because they deliver the greatest hits. and in Child's Play films, that's Brad Dourif screaming and swearing, and Chucky getting torn apart in gruesome ways.haven't seen the show.
>>220146452nah he just wrote the script for Clayface, its directed by the woman in black dudeflanagans next movie is gonna be another Exorcist reboot
>>220146686Oh true, fuck I keep misreading those tables on wikipedia
>>220145459Hated that movie. Her plan was completely retarded all the times. Should have smashed the mirror when she could. The moment she watched in it in the beginning the movie basically ended and the rest was filler
>>220146743The whole point is she's trying to prove her brother's innocence by capturing the mirror's shenanigans on camera. Granted, he's already been let out of the loony bin at that point, so it's pretty unnecessary.
Just finished. An old self-help record causes people to split into their positive and negative selves. This is kind of a reverse exorcism movie, about getting a spirit double to return to the body it belongs in. Unfortunately there just isn't much movie to it. It spends a LOT of time on the processes and rules of the reunion, and there's not much in the way of threat/action. It's got an almost scientific attitude toward its subject, and a full half of the movie's runtime is dedicated to watching it. It's a Swedish movie by a Spanish director, the guy who did Late Phases. Seems to me like he was impressed by Demian Rugna's stuff and was aping it. There's a Klubb Super 8 logo at the start and Synapse co-produced. Christina Lindbergh is a major character and it's wonderful seeing her. The wall fucking fell on top of her but at one point she was very probably the most beautiful woman in the world and she still has an energy that makes you want to be close to her. A lot of these elements make the movie seem tailor made for me but it's just so unengaging.
