I just rewatched 1 and 2 and while Bam is the littlest bitch in the group by far, his bitch assness does add a certain secret sauce to the rest of the guys doing the work. Ehren is the dork so he gets a lot of shit but knows where he stands. Bam is a heel, he thinks he's popular with the guys and plays it that way, but they really just enjoy messing with him and making him cry with snakes. 4 was pretty tame without him and you could tell the dark room skit was meant for Bam more than anyone else. Jackass is like wrestling and without their "villain" no one can really be the "hero".
