This movie sucked but I did like how Indy himself was basically made an observatory character like he was in Raiders, as in the audience is seeing how things play out from his point of view, but doesn't have much effect on the story or the outcome.

I liked this movie (no I am not lying) and I think it will be reevaluated once we are way past all this woke bullshit because it actually makes fun of a lot of it, in a way.I do think they could just recast the role but I'd rather them make some new adventure serial inspiried by like, Xena and Hercules and Buffy and Samurai Jack. How much more energey is left behind an IP that's been going for 40 years and was based on the creator's childhood favorite "shows" from 40 years before that? It's time for something new, I think.
